Hey guys, it’s Michael, and I’m excited to show you the wallpaper that will be included in the new Peaceful Forest mini theme! This theme will be available from the Ganz eStore in April.
Nathanael, one of the talented artists here at Webkinz Headquarters, first created a concept of what he would like this wallpaper to look like. This helps him decide what the look and feel of the wallpaper will be before he starts modelling it in 3D:
A lot of thought and work went into the concept drawing for the Peaceful Forest Wallpaper and as you can see below, the final designs are very close to the original drawing. I really like how the rays of light in the background seem much brighter and warmer in the final designs:
As you know, the same wallpaper can be added to small, medium and large Webkinz rooms so you’ll notice some minor differences in each layout. That beautiful moss covered fallen log had to be removed in the small version of the room for example. Do you notice any other differences?

Just gorgeous. I love the haze and sunbeams. I can almost smell the “green” and “dirt” that is so wonderful when you find a spot at the perfect moment like this. Now how about this same wallpaper that changes to moonlight, fireflies and eyes blinking at you from the mist at night? Halloween isn’t THAT far away…. :)
That’s true, they usually start working on the Halloween and Christmas themes pretty early in the year to make sure they’re ready in time! A moonlit version of this would be beautiful.
The Webkinz artists are so talented, and it’s fun to hear them on the podcasts. Thanks for sharing how these beautiful pieces go from concept to reality!

Oh wow, I can’t wait to get this wallpaper!! Excited to see what else they have to go with it. I am already contemplating what I will do with this. The Ganz artists are just so amazing, just a really great pool of talent they have. I really love your idea huggablehoney4ever. Would love some new changeable flowers and trees, they are so much fun to work with. Can’t wait for Spring!!!!
