Hey guys, it’s Michael, and I’m excited to show you the wallpaper that will be included in the new Peaceful Forest mini theme! This theme will be available from the Ganz eStore in April.
Nathanael, one of the talented artists here at Webkinz Headquarters, first created a concept of what he would like this wallpaper to look like. This helps him decide what the look and feel of the wallpaper will be before he starts modelling it in 3D:
A lot of thought and work went into the concept drawing for the Peaceful Forest Wallpaper and as you can see below, the final designs are very close to the original drawing. I really like how the rays of light in the background seem much brighter and warmer in the final designs:
As you know, the same wallpaper can be added to small, medium and large Webkinz rooms so you’ll notice some minor differences in each layout. That beautiful moss covered fallen log had to be removed in the small version of the room for example. Do you notice any other differences?

I love the wallpaper!! It is awesome that you can make inside rooms outside rooms!!! I miss the green grass when snow arrives in webkinz land!!! I know there are those who love winter—-me not so much! Spring fever? Yepper!!!

Nice touch how you show the 3 room-size versions! Now that we can change wallpaper (maybe the best new feature of WW) I like to play with each new wallpaper in the same fashion to decide how best to use it in a room. My weakness is I almost always want all the wallpaper, so I have literally a ton of rooms. If anyone out there has an extra of the trading card wallpaper which is dark purple with lighter purple circles (or ovals, can’t recall which) I would so greatly appreciate trading something worthy for such. I covered over it and then regretted it, so it is lost forever. (MICHAEL, any way you can help me get it back? ;) Thanks, k.
I have an extra purple “Card Collector Wallpaper”, kaye10. My WW acct. is buzzard500. That wallpaper is really pretty! I also remember WW when you couldn’t change wallpapers! It seems that Ganz should be able to replace your covered over wallpaper, as it was a mistake. I was able to get Wish tokens back after mistakingly spending 100 on the water tower chair! It would be nice if they offered the old trading card themes in the W shop or the e-store– preferably the former!! Also, you can try finding the wall paper in the trading room. Let me know! :)

Absolutely gorgeous. I’ve been here since almost the beginning and the difference in items now compared to then is phenomenal. And even back then, it was wonderful, but now…. it just gets better and better with each passing day. GREAT JOB, Ganz.

Thanks for sharing these, Michael. We get to enjoy the finished product when it becomes a virtual commodity, but it’s really neat to see the artist’s initial concepts. These designs are beautiful, Nathanael. You’re an incredibly talented artist, and you’re an inspiration to all the young Webkinz fans who aspire to work as an artist some day.
