With everyone getting back to school, we’re bringing back the School Theme to the WShop! On Wednesday, September 17th, you’ll be able to find most of your favorite school-themed items to decorate your room, along with some new ones!
New to the School Theme this year is the Classroom Workstation, the Library Lounger, and the Library Bookshelf!
To make room for these new items, we will be permanently retiring the Classroom TV and the Kinzville Academy Plaque! If you haven’t already picked up these items, you can visit the Trading Rooms in the Clubhouse and look for someone who’s looking to make a trade!

What do you use for school desks? Are there desks for the students in the theme?
Yes! there are teacher and student desk in this theme carla8478 :)
There us also a student desk in the wish of the day and wish factory, I think. :)
Yes there is that desk is cooler because It’s a chair and desk combined and it has books on it I like that desk too :)

and to answer the questions yes, I have been collecting the School theme I have everything in it so I need to get these new items! and what items should u add in the future? maybe a new classroom tv that u can hang on the wall! Or a libraryian desk! and a rug, plus possiblly a classroom water fountain, and lockers, and maybe on the book shelf u could actually hold books in it :)

I’m not really sad about the Clasroom TV and Acadamy Plaque being retired tho because we get these cool neew items! I’m really glad the Cubby didn’t retire It works in many room themes :)
I love this new bookshelf. I like how they continued with the purple. It is perfect for my principal office – which is next door to my classroom.

I love the school theme. However, I miss seeing the American Flag. Perhaps a choice of flag of choice would be good. Also more school type posters would help decorate the walls. The new items are GREAT! skruffy

The special Deluxe clothing is not for sale, anywhere. At least not yet. You might be able to trade for them in the trading room.

That’s good but even better would be a flag that you can change the nationality so that no one is offended because they can only have someone else’s flag and the W-shop isn’t overrun with 50 million flags.
Well, people of all nationalities play on Webkinz, so maybe not an American Flag, then some people would want a Canadian Flag, a Flag of France, you know, and it might not seem fair to some that their nationality did not have a flag, only Americans. So I think, instead of an American Flag, you could make a Flag of Webkinz World! There isn’t one yet! Maybe you could have a vote thing to choose it again, or just release it one day! Then people from different nationalities, would think it more fair, I hope. I mean, I’m fine with it if you make an American Flag on Webkinz, I just want you to think about all the others who play on Webkinz too. :)
OR, you know how you put in your country when you play, Webkinz could use that, and whichever country you’re in, you get that flag. Just a crazy thought! ;)

I think I like prprprprp’s “Kinzville Flag” idea better, because it’s inclusive to all members and it isn’t as much of a technical or social hassle as selling flags based on the user’s nationality. I say a Kinzville flag is an excellent idea!

A Webkinz World flag would be cool :D But there could be a Curio Shop flag which we can customize when we put it in our pet’s room, like an Caring Valley sapling. It would allow us to choose from all countries, so everybody could have the flag they want.
We could have a design-a-flag contest and players could send in drawings/computer animations of flag ideas. Then the winner and the other top 10 finalists could receive the MEGA pet pack of 30 kins + all the stuff that it comes with(plus me if I don’t win). And the flag could be a map item too. the new items are cool, but I don’t think they quite match the theme. anyway, this is my favorite theme im glad its back!!
I have been of the same opinion, qwedsa111; it’s jarring. I dislike that purple seems to dominate many of the newer webkinz items. Maybe it only seems that way to me, because I particularly dislike the colour purple.
You realize that the people who created Webkinz are CANADIAN…not American…besides since Webkinz is for everyone I like to think that we can all imagine it is our own country.

Oh I am so confused! Was there once an American flag in the school theme? What is spooky-cool is that I correctly guessed the retiring items :) Can’t wait to add the new items to my rooms…yay!
