as a paying customer that normally buys a minimum of 6-8 passes, i sincerely hope this is not a regular thing. it wouldnt even make financial sense for next to do this. with a 10 day gap, that is three less seasons a year and three less capsules. i normally buy atleast the 1300 diamonds for capsules every season on top of passes. not only was one prize for 10 days extremely boring but seasons are optional. it takes five minutes to do dailies. if that’s too much, then why even play. seasons are what give us decorating abilities and keep things fun. as someone that LOVES next and loves to fund it, this was a major disappointment.
I think you aren’t thinking of people who may not be able to afford this many seasons a year but would still like the ‘good’ prizes and feel left out when they can’t come up with the money for them. With deluxe, seasons and other things a TON of money is spent on WKC and WKN and some of us are on the struggle bus just to eat daily.
it’s only 6.99 every five weeks.. that’s around 20 cents a day.. i don’t think all of us who like to play should have to be bored for days on end when seasons are optional. 20 cents a day isn’t a lot to set aside .
webkinz is a business , they have to make money. it’s no different than classic . it’s very cheap for the entertainment it provides . it is entertainment after all… a lot of who are on day in and day out just want next season to start
What a disappointment – FINALLY saw the flake – poor color choice and size – and all I got was 50 kc EACH TIME. This takes too long for too little pay off.

The challenge looks really fun, but I sincerely hope this gap in seasons doesn’t become an every season occurrence. For many players like myself, seasons are the one thing that really makes Next stand out and gives us something to look forward to. I wish you could have both the season and challenge running at the same time.
I agree, I really hope there’s at least a chance to win diamonds at some point during the challenge. I rely on the seasons to build up my diamond collection and that takes a while to do as it is, longer gaps would mean it takes forever to earn enough to even spark a baby!
I have lots of Snow Forts, but this looks different. Can you tell us more about this mini-season? Also can you tell us the name of the next Season Starting on January 15th? I am hoping for Flu Season (LOL) as I need a hospital bed, an ambulance, etc.

i like the castle but disappointed in gap for season. for people that are on daily , it’s easy to finish the season a week ahead. so this is almost three weeks spent out a new season. bummed when i saw this
I am intrigued. Will it be out of place when the weather changes? does it cost diamonds? Inquiring mind want to know….(-: PS Been waiting for the New Season.
Challenges don’t cost Diamonds unless you want to skip tasks. Considering it happens before Winterfest, I should hope it’s still seasonally appropriate lol

The secret snow castle is super cool. Did I see correctly that the new Season won’t start until Jan 15? That’s a pretty big gap between Seasons, no?

Is this only because of the challenge or are we going to be finally getting a break between all seasons?
alaynaj1212, I am guessing that in order for the next Season to line up properly with a particular event or holiday (Valentines Day, perhaps?) there had to be a short gap in between the end of the current Season and the beginning of the next one. This challenge is the perfect filler!
