It’s time to meet the virtual pet that has been 20 years in the making! We are so excited to unveil the final design of the Twenty Year Tiger based on the amazing submission by talented player Sweetheart1218!
This adorable tiger will be FREE to players in both Classic and Next on our 20th anniversary Webkinz Day, April 29, 2025!
All of our virtual pets come with a Giftbox that includes a Pet Specific Item (PSI) and Pet Specific Food (PSF) in each game. While we loved Sweetheart1218′s suggested PSI and PSF, we did make a couple of changes in keeping with the new Banquet Hall theme that will also be released as part of our 20th anniversary celebrations.
We altered the colors on Sweetheart1218′s Magic W Piano to match the Banquet Hall items. And while we love taffy as much as the next tiger, we felt that a pet THIS special needed a truly fancy feast. So we elected instead to cook up a plate of Anniversary Appetizers.

Absolutely love how the tiger looks! I just have a question about the piano, why make the colors so boring compared to the concept? I love the multicolored W piano design, its so fun and whimsical, but now it just looks like a plain wooden piano?
So looking forward to this pet. And I can have a free one we on my Webkinz nezt. Now my Webkinz pet I have when. I started the game will have a friend I am looking forward to making a baby with this pet. Will there be a plush as well?
Hello webkinz team. So glad you kept the tiger looking as spiffy as submitted ! That is one of my possible names for my tiger – “Spiffy”. But . . .like many others, I think sweetheart’s PSF is pretty spiffy too ! I like the idea another player put forward, of having the taffy in the gift box. It could be a 2nd food or simply another food for ALL the pets. I like that idea too ! PLEASE, think about it? “Taffy” is another possibility for a name for one of my tigers ! I am so excited and looking forward to welcoming this cheerful pet. Can hardly wait for it ALL ! DELICIOUS :-)
Ooo I this made me think. What if the 20 year taffy was a dispenser food if we can’t get it as the psi? That would be so cool!
I like Sweetheart1218 taffy and piano much better than the miss-matched piano and appetizers.
Me, too! The color of the original piano is much more vibrant. The new one looks too plain. Also, the appetizers don’t look special enough. Nothing about them reads 20 years, from what I can see here.

The tiger looks better then the one showed before. I would not mind at all have this on my account thank you for making it MUCH better. Though i really want to know 2 things. 1 Does the piano play music? and 2 PLEASE can it play the Webkinz theme song? It would be so fitting for it since it would show just how far webkinz has come and yet it would show where it all started. Thank you again for fixing the tiger a little bit :)
