It’s time to meet the virtual pet that has been 20 years in the making! We are so excited to unveil the final design of the Twenty Year Tiger based on the amazing submission by talented player Sweetheart1218!
This adorable tiger will be FREE to players in both Classic and Next on our 20th anniversary Webkinz Day, April 29, 2025!
All of our virtual pets come with a Giftbox that includes a Pet Specific Item (PSI) and Pet Specific Food (PSF) in each game. While we loved Sweetheart1218′s suggested PSI and PSF, we did make a couple of changes in keeping with the new Banquet Hall theme that will also be released as part of our 20th anniversary celebrations.
We altered the colors on Sweetheart1218′s Magic W Piano to match the Banquet Hall items. And while we love taffy as much as the next tiger, we felt that a pet THIS special needed a truly fancy feast. So we elected instead to cook up a plate of Anniversary Appetizers.

I love the Anniversary Appetizers. The taffy was cute, too. I also really like the piano change. As soon as I saw the entry, before it even won, I knew I’d name it after my own cat who has crazy whisker. This tiger reminds me of him.
I will name him Score. which means 20. He is so cute.

The banquet hall piano colors look great! Would’ve loved to see that taffy though, I couldn’t really tell what the “feast” was at first and anyway this tiger strikes me as more whimsical than serious so I thought the taffy fit better. Still love it and glad you are making it available to everyone! <3

I cannot wait!!!!!! Sweetheart did such a good job with this design. (If you see this, i hope youre so proud of yourself!) I leaning towards the names Rufus, Ruckus, or maybe just something that plays off the theme like Webster or Kinzley. Thank you Webkinz team for giving us all the chance for this cutie. I’m still thinking about a name that will best fit this very special pet, for this momentous occasion. I was trying to think of something to play off of the number twenty, perhaps in another language, but I have to say that I absoulutely love your suggestions of Webster and Kinzley! Now I will be thinking in a whole new direction. Thanks for the brainstorming session! Enjoy your new tiger!

I really like the original piano. Love all the colors on it. The piano would look very nice with the 10 year furniture. Kinda like the pets learned how to play a piano during the last 10 years and this new one is the reward for all their hard work.
Why does the Next Magic W Piano have the Magic W decoration underneath like in the concept art but the Classic Magic Piano does not??

I actually like the change of psf, because it goes well with the banquet theme. I like having “matching” pets for my rooms, and this amazing tiger is going to fit in perfectly into his banquet hall. :) I can’t wait to adopt him, but first I have to think of a really great name for a pet this special. Does anyone know if the next pet will be sparkable? If so, will traits be inherited? Or will it be like the candy cane cat where if you spark it, you get a regular cat (i’m assuming in this case pixie tiger since it’s the closest thing)?
