Hm, the only problem with these gift basket foods is that they’re too cool and rare to feed to your pets (especially since you can only feed them to ONE pet). I think it would be a better idea if those gift baskets only gave you more permanent items like decorations and clothing, and if ‘holiday foods’ were instead temporarily put into the food section of the WShop so that you can buy a lot of them and feed them to all your pets.
I have often thought the same thing, MWolfL; and I think your idea is terrific! I usually end up just keeping the special holiday food as a collectible, because I agree with you–those foods are so cool and creative. Another option: keep the one special holiday food in the gift basket, but make it available in W-Shop for limited time so all pets can taste them. (Yes—I’m not even ashamed to admit I worry about being ‘fair’ to all my Webkinz pets………lol….) Also: I love CaroleF’s idea as well: those baskets truly are gorgeous, and they would make awesome permanent items. And mycatsnores: your idea of using the gift baskets as seasonal storage is a fantastic idea.
Lovely prizes…. and another beautiful basket that POOF will disappear! Please, please, please…. let the baskets be something we can have for a room decoration! So much work must go into those designs, such a shame to see them disappear.
I agree! And if they could be used as storage, woudln’t it be perfect to be able to put that season’s or holiday’s clothes or gift clothes prizes in it? That way the baskets would be an easy way to have a type of catalog organizer, in a way, since you could visually see the year/event because of the basket (don’t know about you but it’s impossible to know where specific clothes are unless you click open so many storage closets! Storage rooms! Storage trunks! Dressers! …now where is that flower hat from Easter 2010 again??? :))

Oh my gosh, mycatsnores, that is a brilliant idea! I have the same issues…where did I put that (fill in the blank)? And generally I’m a very organized person. Having the gift baskets as storage would be a win-win. Thanks for the awesome idea!
