I’m completely enjoying the summer season and have had so many fun adventures!
I love spending time outside and being active and the summer gives me lots of opportunities to get outdoors! So this Sophie’s Favorites is all about my fav outdoor summer items!
1) Glamping!
Camping and backpacking offer lots of fun and adventure but sometimes you miss the comforts of home. Now, with the new Glamping items you can have the best of both worlds!
2) Gardening!
Growing your own food can be so rewarding! The new Barnyard Veggie and Leafy Greens Garden are both pretty and prosperous! You can get one random veggie each day from these gardens! PLUS, there are lots of Growing Garden Seeds to choose from in both the Ganz eStore and in the Wshop to expand your gardening design!
3) Shopping!
To beat the heat sometimes you need to head to your favorite store and enjoy the air conditioning. I love shopping for new clothing but this time I picked up one of the new Fan Designed Buddies! Check out the new Woodland Spirit Buddy – the perfect pal to enjoy a hike with!

i adore the new Blue Ribbon room Sophie has. That garden and getting a variety of veggies is really cool!!
These are all nice, especially the Barn Yard Veggie and Leafy Greens Garden. However, it’s sad that all the new seeds will be for eStore points only! There are 27 seeds you can get in the WShop right now. Of those 27, there are only 7 seeds you can buy with just normal KidzCash. The other 20 can only be bought with eStore points. (And, this does not include all the seeds that Deluxe only can get.) That doesn’t seem very fair. Why can’t we have some new seeds that can be bought with KidzCash? Can’t you add one or two new seeds for our gardens? How about blueberries? Green bell peppers? Onions? Radishes? Potatoes? Why are all the new seeds eStore or Deluxe only? Please don’t forget about just the regular players. You’re getting our money, too! Every time we renew our membership!
so agree estore is becoming the only way to get nice new everyting.

My parents don’t want to pay either because of the automatic renewal. I wish that it wasn’t so I could get a membership! Otherwise, I’d probably ask for a year’s membership for Christmas.
Hi alilkitten! There’s a way to get deluxe membership without having to worry about auto renew :) Whenever someone buys a new membership, they give you two options: to either have the membership pop up on your account automatically, or to print out the membership as a gift code. If you chose the latter, Ganz will send you a code which you can then enter in the estore whenever you’d like. Once your enter the code, you’ll be asked to provide your username and voila– you got your membership! ^-^ And, because it’s a gift code, it will not automatically renew, unlike the regular membership option. I agree, more common variety seeds need to be added for KinzCash. Our family (deluxe) account has a few extras, a marshmallow plant, a giant bean one we got on sale, a lollypop plant we won in a collection years ago, doggie bone plant (psi) and a pickleberry plant because we like the pickleberry prizes the most, but was outrageously expensive (9 dollars basically) and you only get one berry per harvest so we aren’t allowed to buy more :( I wish I could buy that greens garden and barnyard veggie garden :(
KarenaJ, I’m not Deluxe, but a few years ago, when they were having some contest in WebKinz World (I think. It’s been awhile, so I’m not sure how and when.) I got a marshmallow plant, a sushi plant, the giant bean, and a lollipop plant. I think the marshmallow plant can be Kidzposted. Maybe some of the others, I don’t know for sure. I love planting and harvesting the normal plants, and the few special ones I have. I just wish Ganz would make more normal vegetables for KidzCash, that everyone could buy. Back when our veggies would die if you didn’t water them, which I am VERY glad we don’t have to do that anymore! :-) I would plant corn in a kind of Maze for one of my Halloween rooms. When the corn “died”, it was withered and brown. Perfect for Halloween! I wish they would sell “dried corn stalks” in the WShop for us to use in Halloween or Spooky type rooms and yards. Of course, Ganz would probably make it only eStore points or Deluxe, or…price it too high. *sigh!* :-( Anyway, it was so much fun to decorate with the dead and “rotten” veggies, especially during the Fall and Halloween. :-)
Haha alucard I remember when the veggies would die if you didn’t tend to them and you would have to start over! I would open up that room and they all would be rotten cause I was little and would forget lol. I can see how these would be great decor at Halloween, too, how clever! We have a full account and a deluxe account but the full account isn’t good for playing games or taking classes but we use it for fun decoration and making money although as far as I know you can’t send KinzCash through KinzPost. I would like to have a sushi plant. The giant bean is beautiful when it is ready for harvest. It’s probably my favorite “special” seeds. I want the sunflowers but we aren’t allowed to get more for now. Here’s to hoping for seeds to be a prize and for them to make more common seeds!! :)
You are so right. Plus the estore prices are too high. They make things unaffordable and no one will be able to play on their site. My kids quit when deluxe was introduced. I check in on their accounts because of the money we invested. Parents won’t want to invest the money when other games are cheaper.
