Mandy Webkinz here with a Special Report on… my new Buddy!
Readers, I’m so excited to introduce you to my new Pet Buddy, Cinder. I’m always admiring the adorable Pet Buddies following players around when I visit the Trading Room. So when Webkinz announced that Pet Buddies would be returning to pets’ rooms with our last update, I knew I needed this adorable baby dragon!
Did you know that it was Webkinz players who helped to hatch the original Cinder? It’s true! Raziel the dragon from Adventure Park, needed to keep the egg in his nest warm. So many of you helped by adding coal to the nest that a sweet baby dragon was safely hatched!
To celebrate the hatching, a contest was held to name the baby dragon – and that is how Cinder first came to Webkinz World! And that baby dragon was such a cutie, it inspired a whole generation of baby dragon Buddies to follow – AND an arcade game, ‘Hatch the Dragon’!
My baby dragon is so sweet and follows me all around my house, and even to the Clubhouse! The other day I took my baby dragon Buddy for a walk outdoors to enjoy the beautiful fall colors. Can you spot Cinder in the picture below? With its orange scales, it almost blends in with the autumn landscape!
I’m so happy to have this little dragon to keep me company and I can’t wait to introduce it to my friends in the Trading Room! But I have a feeling this won’t be my only Pet Buddy for long! In fact, there’s a pretty cute ghost in Ganz eStore I’ve had my eye on!

This was a nice report! Congrats on getting Cinder, Mandy Webkinz! I was highly considering getting my own baby dragon buddy during the sale, but then I uh…forgot. Oops. :P Also, that room is awesome!! XD

Such an enjoyable Special Report, Mandy! It’s always fun to hear the history of items, or pets, or pet buddies in WW. Your buddy, Cinder is adorable, and your fall room is magnificent! I love how you incorporated the creek, the wildflowers, and some of the rocks from past collections to give the room so much depth and texture. I hope you and Cinder have a great day!
