Hey readers! It’s Mandy Webkinz here with another special report – this week from Vacation Island! It’s so cold outside at the Webkinz Newz offices, I thought this would be the perfect time to fly south for the winter! And guess who was waiting to welcome me? That’s right – your favourite turtle and mine, Sheldon!
It’s been a fabulous week so far. I have been hanging out at Coral Cove. It’s like the Clubhouse here on Vacation Island – you can meet and mingle with other Webkinz. I have been playing a lot of ‘Treasures of the Crystal Sea’, but only a little of ‘Don’t Rock the Boat’ – that Ghost Pirate is TERRIFYING!!!
Every day I love to take a stroll around the island. I give the Wheel a spin and I’ve been picking up some souvenirs for my friends from Sheldon. I got Michael a Sea Creature plushy because I know he collects plushies. Since it’s so cold and snowy out, I thought Sally could go sledding in the Comfy Inner Tube. And don’t you think Stephen would look hilarious in the Pineapple hat? And what trip to Vacation Island wouldn’t be complete without a spa day? Then I stop off at the Vacation Island Post Office and send some postcards. My favorite is the winner of our fan-designed postcard contest, Friends Watching a Sunset by princessmadilu!
It’s been a fabulous trip so far. I’m staying in a gorgeous luxury suite at the hotel and every day I take a swim in the lagoon. Check out the resort below! See you when I get back!!!
I used to love the Vacation Island! I also remember when the spa was a completely separate vacation, and you could send all of your pets at once. I kind of miss all of that. But, I really liked this report!
Thanks Mandy! Great report! Awesome rooms! I could take a break from shovelling snow and wearing heavy coats and boots. I could stay in your motel for a month and let someone else do the cooking! And explore the lagoon everyday for seashells, and then go snorkelling or SCUBA to meet some of Sheldon’s friends! Only thing is: I’d have to make sure your hotel has a suite for me with my 3 kitties! >{^;^}<
Fun report, Mandy. Your Vacation rooms are wonderful! I’m ready to start packing! No kidding about the cold weather up there, we’ve been playing a game here called “What’s the temperature in Toronto?” (we’re considering relocating) and, man, you guys have been hit with the snow & cold! We live in the Southwest & wonder how we’d ever get used to that. In my opinion, it’d be worth the effort, because the heat where we live makes me sick all summer, every summer & it’s getting hotter & hotter. It’s always something, isn’t it?

How do you go to other peoples parties? I was invited to go to one and I cant figure out how to go!
cat2f, When it’s time for the party, go to your house and you’ll see a pop-up in the left top corner where you can click “Go to Party”. Parties don’t always work, but keep trying! Have fun! :)

Mandy~ your little pot bellied pig looks like she’s having a wonderful time in her little floatie in that beautiful lagoon! The tropical hide-away and the gorgeous luxury suite are just what the doctor ordered to chase away this frosty chill. Thanks for bringing us all along so we can savor the sunshine and relaxation! Your souvenirs for your friends sound perfect! My special challenge to Stephen ~ we would love to see your squirrel monkey wear your new pineapple hat in a future special report!
