Hey, Newz fanz! Mandy Webkinz here with a special report. I thought it might be fun to take you behind the scenes at Webkinz Newz and share a typical day in the Newz room!
Here are Michael, Sally, Steve, and I, all hard at work on the latest edition of Webkinz Newz.
Michael is planning the next episode of Podkinz, and of course going over new submissions for his Room Design videos. He’s got some new Room Design awards all polished and ready for the next set of winners.
Sally is relaxing in the social media lounge with a coffee, while she works on her laptop. She has her hands full – or would if she had any hands! – checking out the newest awesome videos and posts from our fans. I wonder who will be Webkinz’ next Social Media Star?
Steve is busy getting some plush pets ready for his next set of unboxing videos. He needs to get the lighting just right before he starts the camera rolling! There are so many adorable pets – I wonder which one he will be filming next?
I just love Webkinz fashions and I am so excited at all the entries I’ve been getting for our Webkinz Trendz videos. I’m busy selecting submissions to feature in our next video. I might take a quick break to go and visit the Trading Room (just don’t tell Michael!)
Maybe later we’ll all meet up for a coffee by the snack station and share our notes on the latest happenings in Webkinz World!

Webkinz Newz team, please do a report on what fans want, such as “wouldn’t it be great if when you pulled up your map you could have an overhead view of what is in your room?” It would certainly help with designing flow from one room to the next! You made that great search for your pet feature & search for an item has long been a wanted feature!
also for YEARS fans have been asking for the ability to move and delete rooms and doors.
i agree. would love to be able to move all my pets rooms together and put all the holiday themed rooms together too.

Sooo, THAT’S what Sally does to help us out! Steve’s plushimals are adorable! I wonder if he sleeps with Webkinz..*shakes head*

Thanks so much for sharing this Mandy! Your creativity is awesome and I am sure that your work spaces look exactly like this right?! tee hee hee It is fun to have a behind the scenes look at the place where all the magic happens. I once suggested to Michael to have a “getting to know you” segment where some of the employees tell us a little about their job and themselves (education, how they got the job, a fun story about their job and what they actually do) . This would also be fun with winners of the contests. (how long they have been “playing” Webkinz, how many pets, favourite pet or theme or most desired item) but I guess it wasn’t an idea that fit what is happening at Ganz. Oh well, maybe some day. Anyway….. this is an awesome report Mandy!! Thanks so much for sharing!

What a fabulous idea, Katz1259! I totally agree that it would be awesome. There are some segments of the earliest Podkinz where Ganz staffers talk a little about their jobs, but I’d love to hear even more. I also love the idea of having contest winners share a little about themselves (safely, of course!).
LOL, I can see it now, ‘Hi, my name is Furbabiez, I’m a Kinzfan and it’s been 1 week since my last furbaby. Oh, wait, I thought you said intervention, not interview ROFL.
1 week…yes, I can see where an intervention might be needed! You are definitely on a roll, Furbabiez! And Katz1259, I love your idea! I love going behind the scenes, and “fleshing out the characters” so to speak. But it would have to be done in a way that protects everyone’s privacy. Mandy Webkinz’ special report, and Newz room screen shot are a nice way to help satisfy inquiring minds!
