Hello Webkinz Newz readers, Michael Webkinz here with a special report!
When we add a new room theme to the W-Shop, we like to ask for your help with deciding which one to add. The first time we allowed players to choose a new room theme was in 2014. Players had 5 choices to pick from: Sweets & Treats, Plaid, Clothing Store, Toadstool and Lemon Drop. We released a concept drawing of each theme and left it to you to choose by holding a vote, right here on Webkinz Newz.
Players picked the Toadstool theme as their favorite, and it was added to the W-
Shop later that year.
The next theme we released was the Sweet 16 room theme. Once again this was decided by a vote on Webkinz Newz:
Then, we added the hotel theme to the W-Shop. This theme included a variety of items that you could use to build a hotel lobby and guest rooms. We actually released Haunted Hotel items later that year as Halloween prizes, which players could use to “hauntify” their hotels. Spooky!
We also allowed players to vote for our seasonal Halloween and Christmas room themes but the last permanent theme that was added to the W-Shop was the Party Time room theme. This theme was actually suggested by a fan and was picked by players by another vote on Webkinz Newz:
Soon it will be time to add another room theme to the W-Shop which will, once again, be determined by a vote right here on Webkinz Newz. OOOOHHH a Fire Theme!!!
Ooh, how about a 50′s or 60′s theme that would be sold for KinzCash? One of my favorite era (the 70′s) has already been made, but I can’t get it. Ō~Ō
THIS room theme could also work with Castle and all Halloween items.
I just thought TINKER PUNK WINDOW and items could really look cool. The windows have a fire theme if you look close ;).
Some suggestions here I really like are the Curio Shop, underground room, Boho Chic and stable. My ideas to add are: inside of a gazebo, man cave, tropical room, detective theme, rapids theme, inside trailer, inside of a luxury plane, long grass/woods theme, spiral theme. I would also like to see some of the Webkinz Friends stuff brought over as I would love to have those things.
Oh yes, a stable theme would be great!!
I liked the party theme very much. I do wish though the sink was full of dirty dishes like first shown. That is what I voted for. I know it bothered some players. If you could make one as an option, well, that would be great.
I agree with lemony, let’s do a boy theme, like football!! we have the outfits already.the wallpaper could look like the crowed sitting in the bleachers with the big box at the top for announcers. and of course the flooring look like the football field, OR how about a new underwater theme??
I would like to see an Playground Theme for in door or outdoor with swing,sled,merry-ago-around,tire swing, tree houses thing our webkinz can play on
I think an outdoor summer fun theme with a pond to sail boats on, a lawn where pets could picnic, concession stands to buy ice cream, and a place to set off fireworks would be grand!
My kids and I really liked what we saw of the lemon drop theme which was a past candidate that didn’t win.
It would be really cool to have a landmark theme (with Eiffel tower, Big Ben, Leaning tower of pisa?)
