I wish that the drop rate for Competition Crops was higher, that we could get a second Farmer’s Plot, or that the payout for them was greater. They’re so hard to come by that 50KC is not worth it to sell them. But also, yeah, a ton of my previously-large crops are now itty bitty. I guess they’ve now been scaled to more accurately reflect their real size. >_<

I love that new plants are being added to the Farmer’s Market. I got asparagus plants today.

    What is your farmer’s plot?

    • Sally Webkinz says:

The Farmer’s Plot is a special plot of dirt that you can plant ground crops in. When you harvest your crops from the Farmer’s Plot, you have a chance of getting multiples (more than 1 fruit or veg), an harvest (doesn’t count towards the normal 10), or a competition crop. Competition crops are presentable versions of the fruit or veg that you can put in your rooms. They come in different sizes and you can now enter your competition crops at the Farmer’s Market competition for a chance to win a ribbon.

Would love more information on how these winners are picked. Is it by position we enter them in or of all the submissions or what because it seems incredibly random and well next to impossible to win as most Webkinz games (jellybean contest, scratchers, wish of the day). I mean 3 winners every round out of how many thousands of players. This isn’t money we’re winning here, couldn’t it be top 10 from each position placed? KWIM?

I think I’ll wait to enter crops until the incredible shrinking vegetable problem is fixed :)

How high a chance is it to get a competition crop? I’ve been through a few rotations of harvesting and haven’t gotten any so far.

Yeah, I entered 3 competition veggies last week. I wasn’t expecting to win but I thought I’d at least get my competition veggies back and at least from what I see and don’t see in my pet’s dock, I didn’t win and I didn’t get my veggies back. Thanks but no thanks. :(

I had some really nice sized crops that I harvested in my room, waiting for the competitions to begin. Since the update was done they are all now so tiny I can barely see them, they will no longer grow. :(

This is such a cool & fun idea! I’m glad to finally be rid of my crops. So you have to put them in your room to grow or..?

Since the last update I have noticed different crops available in the Farmer’s Market. I have gotten potato, asparagus, and summer squash plots. Are there any more that will be added or just the 3 I have?
