The NEW WShop is Open for Business!

 

We are very pleased to announce that the WShop has gotten a makeover! It’s now easier than ever to find what you need!

 

All the main categories are listed along the left side of the WShop (New Items, Food, Furniture, etc…). Some of these categories have subsections that are listed along the top of the shop. Subsections mean that you can find what you are looking for faster. For example, in the old WShop there was only one main category for “Fun Stuff”. In the NEW WShop “Fun Stuff” is divided into multiple subsections like “Games”, “Books”, “Toys” and “Seeds”:

We have also made buying items easier! Before we were using a “check out” system and you had to add items to your “cart” before you bought them. Now, all you need to do is click the BUY button and your item will magically jump into your Dock:

Did you notice that you can also buy items with eStore Points in the new WShop? These are some of our coolest items available and to celebrate, we are giving EVERYONE 2000 FREE eStore points! The amount of eStore points you have is displayed above your pet’s portrait (next to your KinzCash). Want some more? Click on the green “+” sign to add more points to your account:

Remember, you must login to your Webkinz World account BEFORE April 1st to get your points.

    It seems as though very few people like the w shop. Funny, maybe you should have run the new design past some players before launching. It is terrible and confusing. Worst change ever!

    Not really a fan of the new Wshop. I really liked the Wshop and Estore being separate. It is very cluttered and confusing. Also it seems like the pictures are so much smaller.

    I agree, E-store items need to be separate from regular W-Shop items — it’s confusing to sort through (even for an adult like me) and if little kids don’t understand why they can’t get E-store, it’s very frustrating for them. Please, separate them!

    Yeah, I agree. The E-store items should be somewhere completely separate, since lots of people can’t buy E-store points, and people could easily get confused by what is E-store and what is not, unless you are looking closely at the tag. I also personally liked the check-out counter idea better, but it is really nice how the sections are divided into sub-sections, and I love the 2,000 E-store points!

    Ok here is why this is terrible…I cannot EVEN access my entire dock in order to sell things to the Wshop anymore. I have made two other comments which have not been posted. Insult to injury. I cannot find anything I want. I am frustrated. I am wasting my time. I do not want to give up on Webkinz, but I do want you to listen to intelligent comments explaining why this is terrible. You must forgive us for expressing emotion along with our frustration, as this update has taken the fun out of Webkinz for me. I now dread having to use the Wshop for anything. I just sent bunches of kinzpost gifts to friends b/c it is nice to have friends and a great way to reduce some stuff from my dock. But really, can’t you just fix it. This whole new idea is messed up and we want back what wasn’t broken. Please pass this on to the powers that be. The worst part is the way we get “transported” and some of the contents of our dock even change to symbols–we don’t even know what the items are anymore. I used to love going to the eStore. Now I don’t know why to bother when the account itself is so frustrating. I just hope someone is listening. Thank you and please post my comment this time. I am trying to be as nice as I can be considering I just want to cry.

    We have cleared our cache too many times too count. We’ve used several browsers with no luck. The wshop has taken coupons and still no food since the wshop changes…something once again “fixed” that didn’t need “fixing”. We’ve been clicking “buy” continuously. Is this the same as ww forcing people to become deluxe members because we couldn’t feed our pets until we did? This is not fair and not a good example to set for anyone, especially children. We don’t appreciate it nor getting messages from the pets begging to be fed either, while throughout the years with our accounts we keep all the pets at 100.

    I don’t like the new W-shop. Sorry, but it’s harder to find items I can actually purchase. I got excited at seeing new room themes, until I clicked on them and one after the other were e-store. I also appreciate the e-store points, but I haven’t found anything yet that I could even buy with them. . . I liked the shopping cart because I could compare items before making my final decision. Now I can’t do that. Disappointing. :-(

    I am having trouble finding sale items. Are they separate like they used to be or just in each section?

    they need to separate the deluxe items from the regular and estore items
