We are very pleased to announce that the WShop has gotten a makeover! It’s now easier than ever to find what you need!
All the main categories are listed along the left side of the WShop (New Items, Food, Furniture, etc…). Some of these categories have subsections that are listed along the top of the shop. Subsections mean that you can find what you are looking for faster. For example, in the old WShop there was only one main category for “Fun Stuff”. In the NEW WShop “Fun Stuff” is divided into multiple subsections like “Games”, “Books”, “Toys” and “Seeds”:
We have also made buying items easier! Before we were using a “check out” system and you had to add items to your “cart” before you bought them. Now, all you need to do is click the BUY button and your item will magically jump into your Dock:
Did you notice that you can also buy items with eStore Points in the new WShop? These are some of our coolest items available and to celebrate, we are giving EVERYONE 2000 FREE eStore points! The amount of eStore points you have is displayed above your pet’s portrait (next to your KinzCash). Want some more? Click on the green “+” sign to add more points to your account:
Remember, you must login to your Webkinz World account BEFORE April 1st to get your points.

Just wondering, I can’t find the Bunk Beds since the change, anyone know where i can find them? Or are they gone??:( :( I finally have enough to buy them and can’t find them….
I must have missed something, how do you get E-Store points? I’m really confused!!!
While I appreciate the new points, this update doesn’t seem very helpful or necessary. The sub-categories are nice but are only saving a few minutes. I think the epoint items should be separate since it is entirely too easy to select these by mistake. It just seems like a ploy for people to spend more money – because while you call them points, it is still actual money being spent on virtual items. I’d appreciate this more if you updated the Wstore with as many items as you put in the estore. The estore has the coolest things and is updated multiple times each month but it seems like the Wstore rarely gets new items beyond a few seasonal items. Give the Wstore more themes – particularly if you keep retiring them to deluxe or the curio store. Develop more building kits – I’m pretty sure I’ve already built all the ones you currently have. Keep things a bit more balanced between money and the game please.

For the most part, I like the new wshop. I would like it better if the estore items were separate, and if there was a confirmation for regular purchases as well as estore items. It’s nice to be able to see the room theme titles, and sale items within the categories. I also like the way the dock goes alphabetical while you are in the wshop, I wish it was always that way. It would be nice if the dock was searchable, and I like the idea posted about having our rooms searchable as well. For all those having problems with Webkinz, I found that it works much better with Firefox, which can be downloaded for free. I have had far fewer issues with Webkinz and other websites as well since I started using Firefox.
I am a mom! This w-shop thing has me steaming! Ganz you are now tormenting these kids that can’t afford e-store points. Your prices for everything are an outrage. At least they didn’t have to look at the stuff they could not have before. I also noticed there are more scammers now in the trading rooms trying to get kids to give up their e-store points. I am sure this won’t make it on this board but I thought you should know that you are being quite unfair to these kids. Someone needs to stand up for them. I spend more money on this game for things my kid can’t even hold in her hand than i can count. Now I have her begging me for more now that she can see the items. You should be ashamed trying to pass this off as something for the kids and not a way of you making more money off e-store buys!
I sooo understand your point there are a lot of adults that have taken over their kids accounts due to kids growing out of the game, having the kids always being reminded of what they can’t have is not cool or half the time they think they want the item cause it is estore and when they get it it sits in their dock and they cant sell or trade it so I hope they fix this issue…….
I absolutely agree, ivysmom. The push for deluxe was bad enough; this is just blatant.
I have to agree. Ironically, I think moves like this end up having the opposite effect from what was intended. When people can’t afford something, they tend to stop shopping. The same is true for gamers. When the game becomes too expensive to play, it’s no longer an enjoyable experience, and people quit playing all together. Surely there must be a happy medium somewhere between profit and player?
It’s a million times harder to find stuff now, I liked it that way it was. The e-store points are nice but you can get anything good with it. I wish the e-store and W-shop were separate.
Does anybody have this problem? The sports theme at the W shop has suddenly turned into deluxe only.
actually, there was a thing a few days ago saying that on the 19′th the cafe and sports themes would bolth go deluxe. >~pop~<
I think it is a great idea so then the people that are not members get estore points it is fare
Although this new w-shop is “shiny and new”, I would have to prefer the old one. Mainly because it was a lot easier to use. This new w-shop is fine for now, but I would really like to see some updates that make it a little clearer and faster to use in the future. Just my opinion!
Where did the stuff go that after you adopt 10,15 …etc, pets you get to choose a awesome bed or other prize??& I noticed that you really raised the prices on the Estore items & the Hamsters are gone …& there Should be a SALES category for all SAles items,
