Michael Webkinz here with the official voting results… The Webkinz Newz community has chosen the Painted Glass room theme as the next theme they’d like to be released in the W-Shop. I wanted to thank everyone who took the time to vote. It wasn’t an easy choice this time around!
The painted Glass room theme will be released in the W-Shop on May 8th, but we will be posting special updates on Webkinz Newz as this theme is being created, allowing you to leave feedback and let us know what you like (or don’t like) about each item. I plan on showing the first set of concepts on March 23rd… stay tuned!
In the meantime, please let us know what type of items you’d like to see included in this theme by leaving a comment below…

Congrats to everyone who voted for this theme. I think a glass fireplace, a sectional couch & artsy lighting would be fun. I envision this theme as living room & bedroom furniture. So that would include a bed. My favorite pieces in most indoor themes usually are the fireplace & the bed.
Several people have mentioned famed glass artist Dale Chihuly, that is exactly who I had in mind when I suggested “artsy lighting”.

I’d like to see some dividers, and also like half walls we can put wall stuff on :)
That would be awesome
It would be awesome to have dividers with glass that’s translucent enough to see the items behind them, but in a way that looks like wearing tinted glasses.

I would love to see a bedroom furniture and a fireplace. I also love the idea of stained glass windows, as suggested by so many others!
I voted for the Cotton Candy Kitchen (hope that theme becomes implemented somehow, maybe in the next Bale Sale?) honestly don’t mind that this one won! I think this theme would look good on a fireplace, a bed (loft style bed?) some minimalist shelves, a dining table (to go with the chair in the concept art), a chaise lounge maybe, and definitely a window if there’s not a rug, I love windows.

I also voted for the Cotton Candy Kitchen however I’m not surprised that the Painted Glass won. It was close when it was offered before and seemed quite popular this time around. I’m actually quite curious as to what the rest of the pieces will look like and I think that it would make a lovely city style apartment. I was going to have fun with any of them so it was a win by any road!
That is a wonderful idea. Please let the Cotton Candy Kitchen items be bake sale prizes. I loved the first Bake Sale and how all the items were part of 2 mini themes: the cafeteria and chocolate chip themes.

I totally agree with this idea! It would be a great way to incorporate items that can be used to make a Bakery in a Bake Sale! I absolutely love all of the bake sales and have fun with all of the items!
i wasn’t a big fan of these three choices – but this was the best of the bad, imho. hoping i like summat in this new room theme!

Perhaps there will be something more to your liking in the next round of choices. I hope that you find at least one thing that you can use in your pets room from this one. You might be surprised!

Of the three choices, I liked this one the best. Can’t wait to see the concepts! :-)
