Michael Webkinz here with the official voting results… The Webkinz Newz community has chosen the Painted Glass room theme as the next theme they’d like to be released in the W-Shop. I wanted to thank everyone who took the time to vote. It wasn’t an easy choice this time around!
The painted Glass room theme will be released in the W-Shop on May 8th, but we will be posting special updates on Webkinz Newz as this theme is being created, allowing you to leave feedback and let us know what you like (or don’t like) about each item. I plan on showing the first set of concepts on March 23rd… stay tuned!
In the meantime, please let us know what type of items you’d like to see included in this theme by leaving a comment below…
Bay windows, chandelier, kitchen island, how about stained glass pieces that have multiple colors? So much potential for this theme.
I love the idea of stained glass! Perhaps some Tiffany style lamps? A nice chandelier of course I’m intrigued by the idea of a glass kitchen. I think that we are going to have some fun!
I’d really like to see some bedroom items in this theme. I’m starting to get tired of giving my new pets the same old bedroom themes lol.
I’m happy this theme won because I think the pieces have the most potential of being used in many different kinds of rooms. I would love to see jewel tones that work with the gem mosaic tiles and lamps and stained glass windows.

I like the color of the chair, and I look forward to seeing how the finished project turns out. I would like to see a dining room set, complete with a sideboard/serving table so presentable food can be placed on it. I would also like to see living room furniture. Please think about making a kaleidoscope end table, which I think would be both beautiful and versatile, and a colorful painted glass lamp. If you have the time and the opportunity, a full kitchen, complete with counters and appliances would be appreciated too. Please consider making a glass mosaic backsplash for the wall in the kitchen. I absolutely love the idea of that mosaic backsplash! I’m also in agreement with the sideboard.

How about a glass shower & bathtub, sink, toilet, chandelier, clock, bunkbed, fridge, stove, counters, double sinks, bookshelves

I am picturing bedroom and office type furniture for this theme. Bed, side table, dresser and or wardrobe, blanket box, fireplace, mirror, desk, chair, book case, both a table top lamp and floor lamp would be nice too.

It’s not the one I voted for, but I’m sure it will look great. The design team always does a good job. Like I said in another post, my only issue with this theme is that it’s not clear what type of room pieces it will have. I hope that it’s not so random, meaning, toilet, bookshelf, dining table and nothing else to go with them. As long as there is enough to make an actual room that makes sense, I will be happy.
Maybe a dresser as well. I hope this theme includes more items than our last few room themes. It would be awesome if it could include at least 12 items.
I think this theme should include a dining chair, dining table, bed, side table, couch, fireplace, wallpaper, flooring, lamp, and window. Just basic furniture items.
