We have been listening to our members and we are aware that some of you are experiencing difficulty logging into Webkinz World. We want to help get you back onto Webkinz World as quickly as possible!
We are currently aware of an issue that prevents some Mac users from logging on when using the browser Firefox. We are working on fixing this, but in the meantime, if you are using a Mac, we suggest that you try opening Webkinz in a different browser.
If you are not using a Mac and Firefox but are still experiencing difficulty logging on, please let us know in the comments section below which browser and which version of Flash you are using. This information may help us pinpoint the problem.

As 11/17, today, I am having no end of trouble of logging into the game. It started yesterday and I am continually getting the message “we couldn’t connect” and get promptly booted out. I am not using a VPN and I do run Advanced System Care which does a thorough cleaning of my computer, every day. I will note, though I don’t know if it makes a difference, I recently got a Microsoft update about 3 or 4 days ago. Oh, and it’s only my PC. I can log in on my Husband’s PC and on my laptop with no troubles.
I am recieving the “An unauthorized attempt to intercept Webkinz communication was detected. To protect your account your session was terminated. Please try again later.” Message. I have restarted the computer and the router, and checked that the VPN is turned off. It is still doing this.
Me too! This happened a while ago also.
I am also getting this error. We used to play for many years, years back. We started up again maybe 3 months ago. I have restarted, redownloaded… doesn’t even work at my work which is a whole different network. No vpn, no changes to firewall… ?

I am having the same issue. The problem is on their side I believe and will take time to fix. I already sent them a email about it so hopefully it will get fixed soon.
Same problem here! I tried restarting my computer and deleting and reinstalling the app, haven’t got it working yet. It worked fine when I last played on Webkinz on Friday.
I gave it a little time and the downloaded application spontaneously went through an update and fixed itself, or someone here helped. Now it works again!
I am able to log into webkinz news but not webkinz world. how do i fix this?
i am receiving this message “an unauthorized attempt to intercept webkinz communications was detected. to protect your account your session was terminated. please try again later.” i am playing on windows. i tried uninstalling and reinstalling it did not fix the issue. please help
This may be related to your network settings, including firewall and VPN.
that is not the issue, i have not changed firewall settings ever and i dont use a vpn. webkinz was running fine 2 days ago. sometimes i cannot even sign in, other times i can play for x amount of time before it kicks me off randomly. today it happened twice during tournament chess and once while idling in my pets room. could it be anything else?
That message appears when something is interfering with the connection to our servers. You could try rebooting your router or your machine.
I am trying to log on to classic via desktop app (mac) and keep getting “An unauthorized attempt to intercept Webkinz communications was detected. To protect your account your session was terminated. Please try again later.”. This has been happening for like a month. So frustrating. Please help.
Are you connecting using a VPN?
