Trouble Logging On?

 

We have been listening to our members and we are aware that some of you are experiencing difficulty logging into Webkinz World. We want to help get you back onto Webkinz World as quickly as possible!

 

We are currently aware of an issue that prevents some Mac users from logging on when using the browser Firefox. We are working on fixing this, but in the meantime, if you are using a Mac, we suggest that you try opening Webkinz in a different browser.

 

If you are not using a Mac and Firefox but are still experiencing difficulty logging on, please let us know in the comments section below which browser and which version of Flash you are using. This information may help us pinpoint the problem.

    i am using internet explorer and chrome but the jproblems I’m having is when I try to log in it will not let me type in my password but it will let me type in my user name. at times when I can get it to let me type in my password which as been only a few times I cant play any of the arcade games please help. I know its not my computer because it brand new only had for one week help please!!!

    Oh, yes. I also have been playing Webkinz for, I don’t know, a good 9 years minimum. Webkinz is very dear to me, see, and I have tried all the suggestions that everyone has suggested. No luck. HELP!!!!!

    I have a chrome browser, and I tried to log in to Webkinz World at LEAST 15 times and it did not work. It ended up coming up saying: Context3D not available! Possible reasons: wrong wmode or missing device support. Please fix this issue soon. (P. S. This issue, at least with me, has been happening for quite a long time. And is slowly but surely getting worse. I love Webkinz, and hate to not be able to get in.) Yours Truly, A Big Webkinz fan:)

    i can log in but i can’t click on anything. when i do, the button or “x” will gray out but then not do anything. i’d appreciate any help. i’m running chrome.

    I have been playing webkins for about 7 years. When I first started playing the website ran fine. The they did an “upgrade” about 4 years ago ( +/-) and ever since I’ve had nothing but problems. Every “upgrade” they do makes it worse. Why would I continue purchasing extra e cash or deluxe memberships when everything always freezes and wastes my time and money. VERY disappointing, as this was a good site – now it’s just frustrating and really takes all the fun out of a formerly fun website.

      Yes, I agree. Webkinz used to be so much fun. But after the upgrade, I was very upset. Everyone said, “Oh, get over it.” But they wouldn’t understand. They don’t play the game and bond with it like we do. I must say that I am VERY disappointed that this has become propaganda, rather than our ultra time favorite game.

    Oh my goodness, it works now! I can finally login. Not sure what fixed it, whether it was the WW update or that I put a Mac update on the computer. I suspect it was the WW technical wizards, so thank you all so much :)

    I am having the exact same problem. Internet provider even gave me new router. Still having the issue.

    I have not been able to log in since Wednesday. I will be able to attempt to log in and then it will give the W then it stays there. The adds do not load. When I exit out and try again i get a white screen. I am running windows ten and on Chrome. Also for some reason after I try to access Webkinz I am no longer able to access many other websites. This is a problem becuse I am graduate student.

        I have and all I was given I have done 10 or more times and I am still not able to log in. I am getting really mad with this is going because I have been playing on Webkinz for 7 years and have never had an issue until now.

      I have had the Exact Same problem! Once I try to access Webkinz, many other websites do not load at all. We have gotten around this by restarting our computer. I hope that works for you. Not terribly convenient, but every now and then I check to see if I can ever login to Webkinz again… Sigh.

        I’ve tried with restarting and I get the same thing every time. I have been to my colleges IT office so many times that they had to show me how to fix my laptop myself. One of the websites that I am having issues with is the colleges website and that is not good.

          Ugh. Not good. So sorry to hear this is a pretty bad problem for you. Frankly, I was surprised that re-starting our computer fixes it. I too have been playing for a while (8 years) and am disappointed that I cannot login. I hope this is fixed sooner rather than later. I actually have a Deluxe membership and that is kind of going to waste frankly, especially if this isn’t fixed soon. It works on my PC at work which is probably not the best place to logon… Well, let’s keep our fingers crossed.

            Hi Sally, thanks for checking in on this thread to see how everyone is doing. I saw that you had suggested that others contact Webkinz support, so I did also. I gave them all my info (version of Mac OSX, version of Chrome, and Flash), but they suggested I use Firefox, which surprised me both because I think in the past they preferred Chrome and also that this thread hints that there are problems using Firefox. I made sure that Firefox was up to date, but had no luck logging in with that either. I guess there is some incompatibility somewhere for us Mac users. A little over a week ago, WW just stopped working for me and I can’t remember installing anything new on my computer. Odd. Here’s hoping the tech crew can figure out what’s wrong soon.

            I’ve heard of a few other Mac users having issues — would you be able to check if your Flash plug-ins are enabled? I believe Apple was automatically disabling Flash, and you had to manually enable it again if you wanted to use it.

            Hi Sally, thanks for the suggestion. I took a look at that and also made sure that everything is up to date, but still no luck. I’ll just watch this thread and see if a solution is eventually posted. Thanks again for all your help.

            I have contacted customer support and got no where. I don’t think they read their own message boards. Gave them log in info they log in on their end and said everything is fine. The problem is on my side. If they read message boards they would see several people are having the same problem.

            finally had luck with IE (internet explorer) No other browser works for me. Give it a try may work for you.
