Hoo-hoo Kinzville! It’s me, your mayor—Dr. Quincy Quack! I’m here again to tell you all about what’s new in Webkinz World today! Let get started, shall we?
- The Adoption Center has a whole new look! The always-lovely Ms. Birdy has simplified the process for both adopting a new pet and for opening a new Webkinz account! In response to popular demand, players will now have the option to start a new account without adopting a free pet. Watch for these Adoption Center updates to also appear soon on the Webkinz mobile app!
- Keeping your pet clean will once again be lots of fun now that the bath and sink activities have been updated! When your pet hops into a bathtub you will now be able to see that same bathtub in the activity, along with a number of other fun fixes. Pet grooming with the sink activity also has a whole new look and updates to make it easier and entertaining to use! Our next update to the Webkinz mobile app in the coming weeks will include all of these activity improvements!
- Thanksgiving is tomorrow! Don’t forget to log in to get your 2017 Thanksgiving Gift Basket, filled with wonderful prizes that are sure to find you feeling thankful!
- DELUXE MEMBERS: Starting in December, the It’s Fun to be Young Gift Box will be replaced with the NEW Cozy Condo Gift Box! Each month, you’ll be able to choose an item from this cool new cozy theme!
- Along with the Cozy Condo Gift Box, Deluxe Members will also receive their monthly special piece of clothing that can’t be found anywhere else! This month’s Deluxe outfit is a Short-Sleeved Jumpsuit!
- Also for Deluxe Members: Your next Deluxe Monthly Challenge begins on December 1st! When you complete all of the tasks, you’ll win a Chrome Sparkle Car!
- December is also the month to collect Candy Canes! Visit your Map of Kinzville each day during the month of December and ask friends to send you Candy Canes! You’ll earn some fabulous flashy Christmas furniture along the way!
- Speaking of Christmas, the Countryside Christmas theme will be returning to the WShop during the month of December! We’ve also added four new items to the theme and retired one! Visit the WShop on December 1st to see what’s new!
- If you have the Webkinz mobile app, you’ll also find the Home for the Holidays theme available in the Mobile Zone for a limited time! Make sure you visit the mobile WShop before the end of the month to pick up this happy holiday theme! Also, watch out for two items that won’t be returning!
- SantaKinz returns to the Clubhouse on December 1st! Your pet can sit on his lap and tell him which gift they want to receive on Christmas Day! Afterwards you’ll receive a candy cane and a postcard from SantaKinz himself! Don’t delay—SantaKinz heads off to the North Pole on December 24th!
- If you’re looking to host a holiday party this season, visit the WShop and pick up one of our Christmas Party Packs! They’re only available until the end of December!
- The Countdown to Christmas begins on December 14th! Visit Ms. Birdy in the SantaKinz Room of the Clubhouse each day until Christmas to receive a happy holiday prize!
- For those players who celebrate the season of Hanukah, you’ll find a NEW Wooden Menorah in the WShop during December! We’re also bringing back the Brass Menorah and the Glass Menorah for the whole month!
- Sophie Stockwell is coming to the Kinzville Park! Watch for her to make an appearance from November 23rd to November 26th! Each day she’ll be giving out a Coupon Gift Box. Inside, you’ll receive a random WShop coupon worth up to 90% on any KinzCash item!

I’d like to retract my former statement about only liking the tree from the candy cane collection event. I just saw a pic of the items we can win in the new PodKinz and they are quite beautiful. Can’t wait to start collecting now :)

my sink and bathtubs are weird now I don’t like it it makes it not so fun to use sinks and bathtubs in webkinz world anymore it was fun to put shampoo on our pet and use the sponge for bubbles put now its just like mobile version sometimes easy isn’t fun webkinz
Yes catdog9. But I think it is meant to be easier for the younger kids that are on. I think that the sinks and bathtubs were much better before they were changed. But as I said, it is easier for young kids. I am 13 and have been on Webkinz since 2011. Things are not getting better is what I feel. Do you know how mad I was when Webkinz X happened? As time changes, things are getting bad. I agree that somethings are good, but not all.
I’m totally in agreement. This new update is rather lackluster. I’m not really sure if I want to bathe or brush my pets anymore. Its a shame; I loved to be able to brush the scales on my citrus dragon’s tummy.

Has anybody else noticed it takes 3 times as much food to fill up your pets? What’s with that Webkinz?
I noticed the same thing tammy9! My pets have an insatiable hunger! I hope Ganz fixes this soon!
It’s not a bug. Instead of trying to fill up your pet with an apple or some almonds, try something more substantial like a burger, some spaghetti, or pancakes!
I only give mine fresh food that we grow on the farm. I was sad that it took 5 tomatoes to feed my birds and I think it was like 6 ears of corn to feed the horses :(
I agree. There is practically no incentive anymore to grow vegetables, as they hardly fill up our pets any more. Please change this back, Ganz.
Burgers, Spaghetti or pancakes are not healthy food. Fresh fruits and Vegetables are much healthier. You should provide healthier meats. :) <3
I thought Webkinz suggested that we feed our pets healthy foods…I remember webkinz ads about we should eat healthy. Shouldn’t that be the same for our pets? Also, obie987, love that you grow on the farm! Might do that myself….

I really dislike this. We were all used to how much fill-up value foods have, and now they are all reduced. It already was taking so much food to fill up our pets, and now you’ve made it that much harder. Please, please, please change this back!!!
this new update is the worst we growing farm fresh WAS a good idea now you have to have 50 cabbages to feed 2 pets pancakes spaghetti or hamburgers are not healthy hope you fix this glitch that you thought we would like
Hi Steve Webkinz!! Well…I wanted to accrue a few days of playing time, before I offered an opinion on the hunger meters. I agree with all who have posted–and though I don’t pay attention to the point valuation attributed to each food–I have to agree, my pets are, to paraphrase another player on this forum: “insatiably hungry”!! This would actually be funny, if it weren’t so frustrating. I had originally thought this was a glitch as well, but after having read everyone’s post, and your reply, I wanted to comment…….Respectfully, I can’t see how increasing pets’ hunger makes any sense or adds to the value or enjoyment of this game. Unless this is a part of some masterplan for future pet care, (as in, perhaps, you are adding a new element to the game?), otherwise, increasing pets’ hunger to the degree they need to eat every few minutes just seems like a waste of the players’ time and their accumulated food resources. This is what I feed: Growing gardens, and also apples grown from the seeds, also, Pet specific foods, hamburgers, milk, water, and chicken nuggets. (Before I put them to bed I give them a dispenser snack or dispenser drink, such as the apple cider or an ice cream cone, or a hot chocolate.) That always worked great until the update on Wednesday Nov 22. After that update, they have become ravenous little virtuals! Their meters go right down to practically nothing after school, Arcade games, exercise time—and, even after grooming time. Honestly Steve: my REAL pets don’t get this hungry, and I have two Rottweillers who are constantly running around! So again: unless this change is part of a future plan which is all going to make sense to us in the weeks or months ahead, please consider re-evaluating the purpose of this new change. Because to me, it just seems frustrating and unnecessary. It’s frustrating enough for adults, but more importantly, one has to consider that a good deal of the players are youngsters—they don’t have a lot of game time—which means they don’t have a lot of time to start huge gardens, accrue KC to buy food, play games, go to school, and do all the wonderful extra activities on WW, so clearly, having to stop to feed twice as often is just going to (rightfully) frustrate the heck out of the younger players, as well as us adults, who typically come to the game to destress and have some fun. I love feeding my virtual pets! And I’m sure most of us feel the same way—we just don’t want to feed three or four foods after every single activity we do with our pets. I am have problems with my mobile account since the update. It logs me out then tells me to re-enter my information. This becomes one giant circle, Ganz please fix this, I use Firefox.
I had that issue yesterday too, rascel. You have to update it at the app store on the device, then it will work fine.
