Hoo-hoo Kinzville! It’s me, Dr. Quincy Quack! Your new Mayor, Sophie Stockwell, will be taking over in January, so this will be my last post about what’s new in Webkinz World. Let get started, shall we?
- Christmas is just around the corner! Make sure you visit SantaKinz in the Clubhouse and tell him what you want in your gift box this Christmas! While you’re there, say hello to the lovely Ms. Birdy and each day she’ll give out a prize as part of our Countdown to Christmas! Then don’t forget to log in on Christmas Day to get your gift and to visit the Today’s Activities schedule for a spin on the Super Wheel!
- Right after Christmas, we are running a Bathtub Battles Trophy Challenge! From December 26th until December 31st, complete all of the tasks and you’ll win a Pirate Sheath, along with a NEW Dogbeard’s Bathtub Battles Trophy!
- Once the New Year arrives, so will Winterfest! Our cool winter celebration returns on January 1st, so watch for floating snowflakes to appear! When you click on one, you’ll receive a prize! Winterfest runs until Saturday, January 12th!
- There will also be a Winterfest Challenge running through the entire month of January! Complete all of the tasks and you’ll be rewarded with tons of cool prizes, including a Warm & Cozy Chair and a Chalet Bathtub!
- Starting January 1st, you’ll also find packs of our classic Winterfest Cookies at the WShop and at the Ganz eStore! When you feed the cookies to your pet, you’ll get a prize that’s unique, but matching with this year’s Winterfest floating snowflake prizes!
- Want to host your own wonderful winter party? Pick up one of our Winter Party Packs in the WShop, available only during the month of January!
- The January Deluxe Challenge starts on New Year’s Day, January 1st! Once Deluxe Members complete all of the tasks, they’ll be awarded a Rustic Winter Bridge, along with a Snowy Mitten Cookie!
- Deluxe Members also receive a monthly gift box containing their choice of an item from the exclusive Cozy Condo room theme, a Deluxe Pet Medallion Box (containing 10 random Pet Medallions), and a special piece of clothing that can’t be found anywhere else! January’s Deluxe clothing item is a pair of Frozen Glasses!
- If you love spinning wheels and winning, you’ll be excited to learn that we’ve once again updated the prizes on the Wheel of Wow for web and mobile, along with the Wheel of Deluxe!

The only disappointment is that the Cozy Condo room theme is still in the Deluxe monthly giftbox. Hopefully we get a new theme next month. Besides that, this is all wonderful news. I’m excited for the Winterfest cookies and floating snowflakes, the new wheel prizes (I wonder if they’ll post what they are on Webkinz Newz like they usually do), the Rustic Winter Bridge deluxe challenge prize, and the Winterfest challenge.
I’ll miss you Dr. Quack!! Also, is there not a new Deluxe box theme for 2019? (2017 was Fun to Be Young and 2018 was Cozy Condo) :)
Thank you for your dedicated service to all us ‘Kinz, Dr Quack. I am actually misty-eyed as I am typing this. I hope your retirement is filled with all kinds of vacations to far off destinations, sipping on fruity drinks with little umbrellas and soaking up the sun. You have worked hard for all the citizens of Kinzville. Thank you for this last update. It looks like a Fantastic winter, even if we have to spend some time indoors ;)
WOW I LOVE the snowy covered bridge!!!!!!!! Oh my word, it’s just beautiful and I can’t wait to work on getting it in January!! Thank you designers! The chair looks so cozy and pretty, but that bathtub, oh YES, that bathtub … it’s gorgeous! I used to have one like this in a prior house and I did exactly that, had my candles in the corner and would soak my worries away. You all have amazing design teams! How about a pair of snowshoes for the Winterfest? Or perhaps some we could hang on the wall? Merry Christmas, Webkinz staff!
Sure wish you could have gotten our not fixed items working again. Very disappointed. Does Ganz know which items are still not OK?Are we to call on each item? No updates regarding this problem for a long time. Still these items are being shown for sale. Are the new items working and not the old? If so we should all get new ones for free. How about some word on the status of these things?
I would say send them an email and list each specific one. They may not be aware or perhaps could add them to a list or start a new one of things to work on. I’m going to do the same in the new year, take the time to look in my rooms and see what’s not working and let them know. :) Merry Christmas!
