- Christmas is only a week away! Make sure you’ve visited SantaKinz in the Clubhouse and told him what you want him to bring you on Christmas morning! Then log in to Webkinz any time on Christmas Day through the web, desktop or mobile app to receive it! And while you’re there in the SantaKinz room, don’t forget to say “hi” to Ms. Birdy and keep collecting her daily Countdown to Christmas prizes!
- Also on Christmas Day, make sure you visit the Today’s Activities schedule on the web and desktop app for a chance to spin the Super Wheel! You’re sure to win a wonderful winter-themed prize!
- For those Deluxe Members who have been collecting the It’s Fun To Be Young theme in their monthly gift boxes, a NEW room theme will be arriving in January! Next month you’ll find a Tween Room Theme Gift Box in your monthly gift box, containing your choice of items from the new theme!
- Winterfest returns to Webkinz World on January 1st and runs until January 12th! Just watch for the floating snowflake to appear across your screen on web, desktop or mobile. When you click on it you’ll receive a random prize, featuring both new and returning favorites!
- Also throughout the month of January, you’ll be able to pick up 3-packs and 6-packs of 2020 Winterfest Cookies! When you open the pack and then feed the cookies to your pet, you’ll win a random item from a pool of NEW prizes, matching the 2020 Winterfest items!
- Speaking of Winterfest, there’s a special Winterfest Challenge running throughout the month of January! Once you complete all of the tasks, you’ll earn some cool NEW prizes!
- We are also running a NEW Scrambled Arcade Challenge from Monday, January 13th until Sunday, January 19th! When you complete all of the tasks, you’ll be awarded a tasty Scrambled Omelet to feed your pet, and a NEW Scrambled Cash Register to stock in your own diner!

- If you’re a Deluxe Member, you know that you get a special bonus box each month. Again, totally think that tying the wallpaper to buying a yearly Deluxe membership isn’t cool. Especially when you know full well that most people bought memberships for HALF price either on Black Friday or will be on New Year’s Day because paying FULL price is highway robbery (especially for Canadians having to pay US bucks to a CANADIAN company). And once again I’m going to beg for someone to fix the 502 Bad Gateway error on this site – totally missed the robin quilt piece. And while I’m at it, fix the log in issue with WW, we shouldn’t HAVE to clear our cache every 5 minutes especially when that doesn’t even WORK! Get some programmers who have a clue please my 16 year old can program better.

Will the Tween room theme collection also replace the Cozy Condo theme collection for Deluxe members? I hope so because I’ve collected all of the CC pieces (including some double items) and am ready to collect a new theme! Haven’t gotten any of the Fun To Be Young theme; is that the current Deluxe theme or has it been around a long time? Thanks!
Is it just me, or did the wheels update a little early this month? It seems like the last update wasn’t that long ago. It could just be that it just seems that way to me because our family was away on vacation for part of the last update so I didn’t get that many spins. I also realize that it probably couldn’t update on either of the next two Wednesdays because of Christmas and New Years. I’m not knocking it, because I LOVE the Christmas stuff! Thanks for the updates Mayor Sophie!
I know exactly what you mean– I though that the exact same thing, myself! It doesn’t seem like it was that long ago since the last update. Either time has passed by too quickly or WW decided to do it early this time.

Just checked at the last update (#302) took place on the 20th, so this update is indeed on-time. But it certinly doesn’t seem like it was three weeks since the last one, though!

And Taffy, I know exactly what you mean about auto-correct. I was texting about one of my friends being ‘disappointed’ about something, and auto-correct wanted to have him ‘disassembled’. LOL! That’s why I always have to take an extra minute to reread what I typed. Sometimes the computer brain does NOT know best, and I truly mean whatever I actually typed. ;-)

Thanks for fixing the Quilted Table prize from yesterday’s code. It can now be kinzposted – yay! There’s lots of fun activities and prizes with this new update. The only news I’m not happy about is the Zingoz Switcherooz trophy challenge. The fact that it’s the most impossible games to play unless someone “throws” the game is bad enough but to have the challenge in a few days between two major holidays will make it impossible for many to participate. Between entertaining houseguests and holiday travel it just seems like bad timing. Holidays should not be spent in front of a computer trying to play a difficult game multiple times just for a trophy. Please consider extending the dates to complete the challenge – please.
Agreed! Zingoz switcherooz is only one of the most frustrating games for me to play. No matter what I do or which strategy I use, the other player (whether a real person or an NPC) always beats me. Honestly, I think I only won that game once or twice in the entire 12-year span I’ve played WW ‘^^ Like you, I wish the challenge was extended so those of us who aren’t so good at Switcherooz could at least have a shot at completing it without missing out on the fun of Christmas and the New Year.

For the longest time I used to think I was the only won who couldn’t win– I’m glad I’m not alone in that sense! Switcherooz really is a pain sometimes ;P Wish they had a “super easy” mode so I could actually win for once, haha. Quick question: Is the Aurora Borealis wallpaper only available to those who purchase a 1-year Deluxe Membership in January, or will it also be in the estore for points? If it’s the former, I guess I’ll have to buy my membership code early this year =P (unless there’s a really good New Year’s deal, or something– saving money does matter more to me than a pretty wallpaper ;P )
