Update #326: What’s New!

Hello there, it’s me again—your mayor, Dr. Quack! I’m pleased to tell you about all the new and exciting things we have planned in Webkinz Classic for the next few weeks! Let’s have a look, shall we?

 

 

• The 2021 Fall Clothing Line has arrived in Webkinz Classic! Visit the KinzStyle Outlet on the desktop app, or the WShop on the mobile app to pick out some fine fall fashions for your pet! There are also TWO new clothing recipes that can be made by combining certain items of this clothing line together! To make room for the new stock, PJ Collie has retired the 2021 Spring Clothing Line.

 

 

• With Halloween right around the corner, you’ll also once find Halloween Costumes for sale in the desktop app’s KinzStyle Outlet, and in the WShop’s Mobile Zone on the mobile app. This year, you can dress your pet up like a spooky cheerleader or a raven with some cool new costume pieces! You’ll also find a wide selection of costumes from Halloweens past that you can pick up for your pet! All costumes will be available until November 16th!

 

 

• Speaking of Halloween, our NEW Halloween Ball room theme designed by player Kittly2008 will be arriving in the WShop on Friday, October 1st! If you’ve been saving up your WShop coupons for something special, now is your chance! This spectacular and spooky theme will only be available until the end of October! You can learn more in our earlier sneak peek Newz story here.

 

 

• We’re running a Fall Shopping Spree event from Friday, October 1st, until Sunday, October 10th! Just log in to your Webkinz Classic account on either the desktop app or the mobile app to receive a daily gift of past Halloween costume pieces and fall clothing!

 

 

• Our next Deluxe Day is on Saturday, October 9th! When the day arrives, just visit the Today’s Activities schedule on the Webkinz Classic desktop app to get your special prize for October: A Jack O’Lantern Cottage!

 

 

• The Candy Bash Arcade Challenge arrives on Monday, October 11th! Available only on the Webkinz Classic desktop app, complete all the tasks before midnight Sunday, October 24th (EST) to win a Monster Candy Bag, some Tart Terrors candy, along with a NEW Candy Bash Fridge!

 

 

• Our next Player Appreciation Day on Webkinz Classic AND Webkinz Next is on Tuesday, October 12th! On that day, log in to your Webkinz Classic account on the desktop app and visit the Today’s Activities schedule to receive your special prize for October: A Wicked Jack O’Lantern Rug! On Webkinz Next, look for the prize notification in your Message Center at the top right corner of the screen. Please note: this Ganz eStore prize item cannot be sent, traded, and sold on Webkinz Classic.

 

 

• We’re running a Wacky Weekend Event from Friday, October 15th, until Sunday, October 17th! During that weekend, look for floating Wacky Milkshakes to appear on the Webkinz Classic desktop app and the mobile app, then click on one to collect it. Each time you feed your pet a milkshake, there’s a chance you’ll win a Wacky Bumper Car!

 

 

• The Home Before Dark Trophy Challenge returns on Monday, October 18th! Available only on the Webkinz Classic desktop app, complete all the tasks before midnight Sunday, October 31st (EST) to win a Trick or Treat Street Lamp Post, along with a Home Before Dark Trophy!

 

 

 

• The ghost returns to the Clubhouse for some more Trick-or-Treat fun starting on Wednesday, October 20th, and ending at midnight on Halloween! Look for the ghost to appear in the haunted Reading Room on the Webkinz Classic desktop app during those dates, then click to collect candy! Once you’ve collected all 12 pieces of candy, you’ll unlock this year’s prize: a Glampire Bed!

 

 

• In October, Deluxe Members will receive their monthly gift box containing a Deluxe Medallion Gift Box filled with pet medallions, a Tween Theme Gift Box which you can use to choose an item from the Tween room theme, a Wish Token—and of course—the month’s special clothing prize: a pair of Candy Glasses!

 

 

• Deluxe Members will receive their next monthly challenge on FRIDAY, October 1st! If they complete all the tasks before the end of the month, they’ll receive a Terrifying Tree Swing, along with a NEW Underground Bunker (based on a contest design submission by player rlja01)!

 

 

• Look for the Campground room in the Webkinz Classic desktop app’s Clubhouse from Friday October 1st, until Tuesday, October 19th! Inside you’ll find Sophie Stockwell handing out some terrific Toxic Pawprints! Also watch for floating Adventure Scout Trail Mix during those dates that you can click and collect!

 

 

• There’s also a Toxic Clean-Up in the Campground Challenge starting on Friday, October 1st. Complete all the tasks before midnight, Tuesday, October 19th to receive an Adventure Clean Up Hat, an Adventure Clean Up Plaque, and a Toxic Bog Truck!

 

 

• Look for Lil Toads in the Webkinz Classic desktop app’s Kinzville Park throughout October! The Lil Green Toad will be appearing from October 1 – 10, the Lil Orange Toad will be appearing October 11 – 20, and the Lil Purple Toad will appear from October 21st – 31st. Click on a toad each day to receive a cool and colorful prize!

 

 

• We are also running another Bake Sale 3 event in the Webkinz Classic Kinzville Park starting TODAY, September 22nd. The Bake Sale 3 Stand will continue to appear whenever there are no other events on in the Kinzville Park until Thursday, September 31st! Visit the Kinzville Park each day to look for the stand each day and if you see it, click on it to get your gift box. Inside you’ll find a random baked good which you can either feed to your pet, or you can use it in a stove recipe to create a special prize! You can find all the recipes in the Bake Sale 3 Cookbook, available in the “Books” section of the WShop, under “Fun Stuff”.

 

 

• Once again, we’ve updated the prizes on our daily wheels! Check out everything you can win on the Wheel of Wow, the mobile Wheel of Wow, the Wheel of Deluxe, and the Vacation Wheel!
