Hello there, it’s me again—your mayor, Dr. Quack! I’m pleased to tell you about all the new and exciting things we have planned in Webkinz Classic for the next few weeks! Let’s have a look, shall we?
- New prizes have been added to the Kinzville Academy Recess activities! Spin the Merry-Go-Round Wheel for a chance to win a NEW Academy Easel! Find pieces of the Kinzville Academy Baseball Uniform while digging for Buried Treasure! And look for new food in your packed lunch! To make room for these new prizes, we’ve retired a few older ones. Check out our earlier Webkinz Newz story to learn more.
- The Wacky Zingoz Celebration returns from Monday, August 1st, until Friday, August 12th! During those dates, look for Wacky to float across your screen. When you click on him, you’ll receive some Wacky Gummies. Each time you feed your pet Wacky Gummies, there’s a chance you’ll receive this year’s GRAND PRIZE: some Wacky Cupcake Tree Seeds that you can plant in your yard!
- Want MORE Wacky Gummies with MORE chances to win the grand prize? You can pick up a Box of Wacky Gummies from the Ganz eStore, with each box containing 10 packs of Wacky Gummies!
- Also during the Wacky Zingoz Celebration, when you play Wacky Zingoz in the Arcade and hit Wacky over 600 feet, you’ll win a Super Slugger 600 Trophy!
- When you play WackyER Zingoz during the celebration and get over 11,500 points, you’ll win some cool prizes, including the returning Wacky Music Box, or one of the NEW prizes: a Wacky Wig, a Zangoz Wig, or a Wacky Zingoz Celebration 2022 Poster!
- In August, Deluxe Members will receive their monthly gift box containing a Deluxe Medallion Gift Box filled with pet medallions, a Retro Rainbow Theme Gift Box which you can use to choose an item from the NEW Retro Rainbow room theme, a Wish Token—and of course—the month’s special clothing prize: some Rainbow Wings!
- The Deluxe monthly challenge for July starts on MONDAY, AUGUST 1st! If Deluxe Members complete all the tasks before the end of August, they’ll receive a CampKinz Backpack for their pet to wear when they work at the NEW CampKinz Infirmary!
- The August Employee of the Month challenge also starts on MONDAY, AUGUST 1st! If you complete all the tasks before the end of August, you’ll receive a Hamburger Lounger that your pet can rest on, in between shifts driving around in their NEW Food Truck!
- We are running another DIY Tie-Dye Event from Saturday, August 13th until Sunday, August 21st! During the event, look for floating bottles of DIY Tie Dye to appear on your screen, then click to collect. You can then combine the dye with DIY Designs Tickets and DIY clothing found in the WShop on the Kinzville Outlet’s Clothing Machine (Webkinz Classic desktop app only). These will create special gift boxes which you can drag into your pet’s room to receive a random common, uncommon, or rare piece of tie-dye clothing!
- Want to make even MORE special DIY Tie-Dye Clothing? Pick up the DIY Retro Rainbow Tie Dye from the Ganz eStore and combine it with a DIY Design Ticket and DIY Clothing on the Kinzville Outlet’s Clothing Machine! You can create gift boxes which will award ALL NEW common, uncommon, and rare Retro Rainbow Tie Dye clothing! Check out the updated DIY Tie-Dye Guide in the WShop (under “Books”) for all the updated outfits!
- To celebrate the arrival of the captivating Capybara at the Ganz eStore, you can come hang out with them at the Boho Coffee Shop room in the Clubhouse (Webkinz Classic desktop app only) from Saturday, August 13th until Wednesday, August 31st! You can also click on them each day to receive random prizes, including a chance at some fantastic food prizes, including donuts featured from our NEW eStore Donut Display Case, and a chance at a bottle of DIY Retro Dye!
- Our next Deluxe Day is on Saturday, August 14th! When the day arrives, just visit the Today’s Activities schedule on the Webkinz Classic desktop app to get your special prize for August: A Wacky Topiary!
- Our next Player Appreciation Day on Webkinz Classic AND Webkinz Next is on Thursday, August 18! On that day, log in to your Webkinz Classic account on the desktop app and then visit the Today’s Activities schedule to click on and receive your special prize for August: A One Step Picnic! On Webkinz Next, look for the prize notification in your Message Center at the top right corner of the screen. PLEASE NOTE: This prize CANNOT be sent, sold, and traded on Webkinz Classic.
- We are running another Super School Giveaway event from Friday, August 19th until Friday, September 9th! Log in to your Webkinz Classic account on any platform during the event, and each day, along with prizes from previous events, you’ll be awarded pieces from our NEW Kinzville Academy Baseball Uniform, along with a NEW Baseball Field and a NEW Locker Room Floor Tile! - During this event, we are also running a Super School Challenge! Complete all the tasks before midnight, EST on September 9th, and you’ll win a Math Poster, a Homework Floor Tile, a NEW Buddy Bench, and a NEW animated Classroom Aquarium!

- If you’ve adopted a Spotted Llama from the Ganz eStore, collect a Little Llama ?? Box from the Today’s Activities schedule (Webkinz Classic desktop app only) on Saturday, August 13th and Sunday, August 14th! Inside you’ll find precious pieces from the Little Llama theme!
- And if you really love llamas, make sure you drop by the Kinzville Park (on the Webkinz Classic desktop app) on Saturday, August 21st and Sunday, August 2nd! Look for the Llama Cotton Candy Tree in the park and then click on it to collect Llama Cotton Candy each day! If your pet still craves cotton candy, you can pick up your own Llama Cotton Candy Tree at the Ganz eStore!
- We are also running another Bake Sale 2 event in the Webkinz Classic Kinzville Park starting TODAY. The Bake Sale 2 Stand will continue to appear whenever there are no other events on in the Kinzville Park until August 23rd! Visit the Kinzville Park each day to look for the stand each day and if you see it, click on it to get your gift box. Inside you’ll find a random baked good which you can either feed to your pet, or you can use it in a stove recipe to create a special prize! You can find all the recipes in the Bake Sale 2 Cookbook, available in the “Books” section of the WShop, under “Fun Stuff”.
- Once again, we’ve updated the prizes on our daily wheels! Check out everything you can win on the Wheel of Wow, the mobile Wheel of Wow, the Wheel of Deluxe, and the Vacation Wheel!

Classroom aquarium… I am so very excited for this prize! I will have to redesign my Classic KVA rooms so I can place it in just the right spot. The Buddy Bench is cute too. Our school collected plastic bottle tops all year, and then took them to a company that recycles them and turned them into a bench with the school name and year carved in it. It was a great way to commemorate that year’s graduating class. I can’t wait to visit the cute capybara and get some of those scrumpdillyumptious new donuts, or maybe even some retro dye. I forget which prizes were leaving the KVA recess pool to make room for the new prizes. I will have to go back and read that article again. Hopefully I have everything that just left. I was hoping that the Adventure Scouts Sleeping Bag would be working properly with today’s update but it still isn’t. The problem is that it’s not putting the pets to sleep. It shows the pet is asleep in the room but in the lower left hand corner of the screen, that pet is still awake and is getting tasked with things to do.
I wish you would make the Deluxe Day item automatically placed in the dock of Deluxe accounts upon sign in. Especially during the summer months, many of us are vacationing in places where taking a computer is not feasible, but logging in on our phones is. I may have to miss the Deluxe prize this month because I will be camping over that weekend and will not have access to a computer. Additionally, you said Deluxe day is Saturday, August 14. August 14 is a Sunday. Did you mean Saturday, August 13, or Sunday, August 14?

problem is too many people complain that they don’t want an item they can’t trade/sell…so, you have to pick the item if you want it.
I thought the Black Eyed Susan Tile glitch was supposed to be fixed by this update but it’s not?? It’s still stuck on my Next property.

No, I never did contact them. Should I contact them to get that fixed? I didn’t contact them because I thought this glitch would be fixed on its own and all I would have to do is remove it. I know that Steve Webkinz told me that it would be fixed by the next update, which is today, and it’s not fixed. Do you know if there is a Webkinz Next Customer Support?
