Update #350: What’s New!

 

Eureka! Hello Kinzville, it’s your new mayor, Goober! Looks like it’s time once again to tell you all about what’s new and exciting in Webkinz Classic for the next few weeks! Let’s check it out:

 

 

• We’ve been adding NEW souvenirs to Sheldon’s Souvenir Shack on the Vacation Island! These souvenirs were selected from our recent fan-design contest! Souvenirs appear randomly each day, and Deluxe Members can buy up to three daily! The latest additions are the Dashboard Hula Sheldon by acoolaunt, and the Potted Tropical Plant by starglo. Stay tuned for more fan-designed souvenirs coming soon!

 

 

• We’ve also started adding NEW fan-designed clothing to the KinzStyle Outlet! These outfits were selected from our 2022 clothing fan-design contest and are available to everyone for KinzCash! The first additions are the Froggy Smock by Asheskinzz, and the Strawberry Overalls by fawdea. Stay tuned for more fan-designed clothing coming soon!

 

 

• We’ve updated the Buried Treasures prizes for Recess! The next time you take your pet for Recess at the Kinzville Academy and dig in the sandbox, you might win some swim team clothing items, including Swim Team Goggles, a Swim Team Cap, Swim Team Trunks, or a Swim Team Swimsuit! To make room in the sandbox, we’ve removed and retired the Lab Goggles and the Ms. Cowoline Plush.

 

 

• We’ve also updated the Recess Wheel! The next time you take your pet on Recess at the Kinzville Academy and spin the wheel, you might win a Classroom Aquarium, or a NEW Academy Editing Station! To make room, we’ve removed and retired the Science Station and the Librarian’s Desk!

 

 

• We’ve also added a NEW Superbed to the Superbed Gift Box. For every 10th, 15th, 20th (etc.) pet adopted, you’ll get a Superbed Gift Box. When you drag it into your pet’s room to open it, you can choose which Superbed you want to add to your collection, including the NEW Sleeping Raziel Bed! To make room, we have retired the Starburst Cloud Bed.

 

 

• There are 3 NEW Exclusive items that you can find either in your pet adoption gift boxes, or in the Wish Factory! If you don’t find the Retro Orange Fridge, Adventure Scouts ATV, or the Nine Lives Music Box in your pet adoption gift box, you can head over to the Wish Factory and pick them up using your saved Wish Tokens! To make room for the new stock, we’ve officially retired the Lion Topiary and the Kinzville Window.

 

 

• August’s Deluxe Day is on Sunday, August 13th! When the day arrives, just visit the Today’s Activities schedule on the Webkinz Classic desktop app to get your special prize for August: A Wacky Stained Glass Window!

 

 

• We are running another DIY Design Event from Monday, August 14th until Monday, August 21st! Watch for the floating bottle of dye, then click on it to receive a random DIY dye color. Then combine it together on the clothing Machine (Webkinz Classic desktop app only) with a DIY Design Ticket and a DIY piece of furniture (found in the DIY section of the WShop) to create a cool new piece of furniture

 

 

• As part of this new DIY Design Event, we have also added a NEW premium DIY Tropical Dye to the WShop available for eStore Points! This new dye can also be combined with the DIY Design Ticket and DIY furniture to create terrific NEW tropical designs! The DIY Design Guide has been updated to include these new combinations!

 

 

• Hey there arcade enthusiasts! We’re running another Pizza Palace Arcade Challenge from Thursday, August 17th, until Wednesday, August 30th! Complete all the tasks before midnight, August 30th (EST) to win a Pizza Palace Pizza, along with a Pizza Palace Restaurant!

 

 

• Our next Player Appreciation Day for Webkinz Classic AND Webkinz Next is on Friday, August 18th! On that day, log in to your Webkinz Classic account (desktop app only) and visit the Today’s Activities schedule to click on and receive your special prize for August: A Marshmallow Trampoline! On Webkinz Next, look for the prize notification in your Message Center at the top right corner of the screen. PLEASE NOTE, this month’s prize CANNOT be traded, sent, and sold on Webkinz Classic.

 

 

• Our 2023 Super School Giveaway runs from Monday, August 21st, until Saturday, September 9th! Each day you log in to Webkinz Classic, you’ll receive a back-to-school themed prize, including new and returning school essentials, including some sensational NEW swim team prizes!

 

 

• Hey there trophy collectors! We’re running a NEW Jazz Monsters Trophy Challenge from Monday, August 28th, until Sunday, September 10! Complete all the tasks before midnight, Sunday, September 10th (EST) to win a Dapper Casual Hat for your pet to wear, along with a NEW Jazz Monsters Trophy!

 

 

• If you’ve adopted a Baby Sloth from the Ganz eStore, collect a FREE Sleepy Sloth ?? Box from the Today’s Activities schedule (desktop app only) on Saturday, August 12th and Sunday, August 13th! Inside you’ll find something special from the Sleepy Sloth theme!

 

 

• And if your pet really wants something sweet, make sure you drop by the Kinzville Park (desktop app only) on Saturday, August 19th and Sunday, August 20th! Look for Sleepy Sloth Ice Cream Tree in the park and then click on it to collect a Sleepy Sloth Cone each day! If your pet still craves this sweet treat, you can pick up your own Sleepy Sloth Ice Cream Tree the Ganz eStore!

 

 

• We are also running another Bake Sale 3 event in the Webkinz Classic Kinzville Park starting TODAY. The Bake Sale 3 Stand will continue to appear whenever there are no other events on in the Kinzville Park until August 29th! Visit the Kinzville Park each day to look for the stand each day and if you see it, click on it to get your gift box. Inside you’ll find a random baked good which you can either feed to your pet, or you can use it in a stove recipe to create a special prize! You can find all the recipes in the Bake Sale 3 Cookbook, available in the “Books” section of the WShop, under “Fun Stuff”.

 

 

• We’ve updated our prize wheels, and once again, there’s a NEW item to be won on the Wheel of Wow AND the mobile Wheel of WOW! You have until August 29th to spin and win a NEW Friendly Froggy Rocking Chair! We also have some returning prizes on the Wheel of Deluxe, and the Vacation Wheel!
