Citizens of Kinzville! I feel fortunate for this opportunity to speak to you again.
My retirement from both the clinic and public service has allowed me time to relax, listen to my community, and gather my thoughts. While I’ve enjoyed the much-needed rest, I have also found a new sense of purpose. That is why I am campaigning to once again become your Mayor of Kinzville!
2020 will long be remembered as a year like no other. This is truly an unprecedented time. During these many months, I have heard my fellow citizens wishing for a return to the things which comfort them. To those who would include visiting me in the clinic as one such touchstone of nostalgia—I am deeply honored.
For those who might not remember, I closed my clinic after Goober and I found a cure for all pet sickness. I had thought my clinic work was over. I couldn’t see why Kinzville needed a clinic when pets were no longer getting sick. And then my eyes were opened.
Kinzville—like the rest of the world right now—could use a little more caring. That is why, if I am elected, not only will I return back to work as your mayor, I will also open my “Dr. Quack’s Caring Clinic” in the Clubhouse. This new Clubhouse room will be a special place where you can bring your pets to see me, hop up on my examination table for a much-needed Pet Care boost, and get a lollipop from me on the way out!
So, if you’ve been wondering “Where is Dr. Quack?” You’ll find me on the ballot running for Mayor of Kinzville between November 28 – 29, here on Webkinz Newz. Vote for me and we’ll be seeing a lot more of each other in the future.
Citizens of Kinzville, I’m ready to serve you again. Because I care.
– Dr. Quack
Right now you’ll also find me in the Kinzville Park every day between November 22 and 27 (Webkinz Classic web and desktop app only). Come by to say “hi!” and you’ll receive a special Webkinz Votes 2020 gift box that contains one of three prizes: A campaign hat, sign or plushy (limited to one gift per day).
I never saw the reason for closing the clinic in the first place. A ‘cure all’ potion smacks of a ‘snake oil salesman’ and just didn’t make any sense in the first place. Not to mention that the pets can still suffer from allergies and injury as we see in the Employment Office. If Dr. Quack wanted to retire that’s reasonable, so we just introduce a new NPC to take over the clinic. We are still not getting the clinic back, there are other ways to get Pet Care Boosts including the Tonics that we make, although the free lolly is a plus……. It does seem like they are restructuring the Caring Valley with this and that would be nice, although it does seem that we will not be getting the Caring Valley prizes and those would be even more of a plus. Seems like we will have to wait and see what happens.
Oh my god this is so exciting! After seeing every candidate’s platform, now I know who I’m going to vote for! I am looking forward to voting for my very first time on Webkinz World!
This is awesome! I’m voting for Dr. Quack. Sophie is the 1% of webkinz and we need to get her out of here. Dr. Quack is the only one that cares about the people. Sophie is paid off by ganz, Alyssa is just using the election as a front for her feud, and Dex does not have the intelligence to hold office. Quack is the only option!
A new place for a pet boost and a free treat everyday sounds great to me. Hopefully the forest will still get fixed anyway at some point.
I wasn’t sure why the clinic was closed but the game to be his assistant was still there to play? I also would have thought with the Covid-19 going on that the clinic would have been re-opened and maybe have a young doctor might come in to help and then take over the clinic if Dr. Quack could be the Mayor if elected again,
That seems much more reasonable. Many of us have been open to the idea of a new physician re-opening the clinic. There is no ‘cure all’ for everything, especially when by nature viruses morph into something different, hence Covid-’19′, as it’s the 19th iteration of the same virus. So even the ‘healing rain’ that Quack and Goober came up with would not continue to work ad infinitum. We had asked for the Clinic to re-open not just a Clubhouse Room. I’m not saying that the Clubhouse Room won’t be appreciated…hey, free lollies are cool, not to mention that those who do not have the base tonic to make the curative tonics will have a place for a quick boost after a scare from the Ghost Pirate!…just that it’s not in the spirit of what we were wanting.
I love Dr. Quack’s platform! A caring clinic in the clubhouse would be great to visit if your pet has seen a ghost! Sounds amazing to me.
Oh my gosh that’s actually an awesome idea! I’ve had some of my pets get scared by the ghost in the rock the boat game before and it takes forever to get them happy again by playing games at the arcade. If the option to go see Dr. Quack for some kind of medicine that could refill your pet’s heart more after they’ve been scared by the ghost, that would be super helpful.
@KarenaJ I so agree! I’ve missed Dr. Quack so much and having him as our mayor again will put a smile on me and my sibling’s faces!
That’s a great idea!!! I second that!!!!! :)
I was leaning toward Dr. Quack already and now I’m sure. It will be great to have his clinic back!!
It’s not getting the clinic back, just a pet boost and a free lolly. Not that a free lolly is a bad thing!
As much as I love Dr. Quack, my vote will go to Alyssa to fix and update the forest. Oh so way overdue.
I believe you are misinformed. Alyssa will not fix the forest, only float around and give extra prizes
The forest won’t be updated if she becomes mayor. She’ll be seen around Webkinz World similarly to Nafaria.
Sorry Dr. Quack but you can’t buy my vote with a Lollypop.
For everyone saying his clinic would RETURN, that is false – a “new” clinic room in the clubhouse would open. I would like to see Sophie or Dex be mayor… not sure which yet! I want a long standing change, not just “Prizes” that will eventually be old news.
