Vote for the Best Bunny April 9 – 22!

Spring Celebration is just around the corner and we thought this was the perfect time to ask our members – who is the Best Bunny in Webkinz World? Between April 9 and 22, we want you to cast your votes to decide which bunnies will move forward in the competition.

Check out the match ups below. Please note: to even up the numbers, the Little Kinz Rabbit has opted to sit out and let the Rabbit represent both of them, and the Lil Spring Bunnies will be competing as a team. Visit Webkinz Newz starting Sunday, April 9 and each weekday to cast your vote.

FINAL DAY OF VOTING TODAY – April 20 – until midnight!

The Shimmer Bunny and Sherbet Bunny names are on the wrong pictures.

My personal favorite Webkinz rabbits are the original and the Angora. I have both. I also have the Hop bunny which was a really cool free promotional item when the movie came out. My original Webkinz bunny I’m very sentimental about because I named it after a very special Albino rabbit I had growing up. His name was Bunny Pink Ears. He thought he was a dog and not a rabbit! He taught himself to heel when he wanted to walk with his humans, you could whistle, snap your fingers, call his name and he would come hopping to you. He snuggled and slept curled up with my Cocker Spaniel, and 2 cats. He also played tag with the cats and dog. But best of all he loved to snuggle in your arms. He was a gift from a favorite uncle when I was 6 and sick with the chicken pox. He was such a sweetie! ♪♫LadyBeauty♪♫

Hey, it looks like someone mixed up the pictures for the Sherbet Bunny and the Shimmer Bunny. It might be a good idea to fix that before the voting starts…

I love all of the webkinz bunnies alot! It will be hard to pick a favorite. It would be super cool if the winner was given away to webkinz players!

May the best one win! I’m sure everybunny is looking forward to this. My Cotton Candy (Sherbet Bunny) has been and always will be my fav bunny in WW! I just love the colors on it! I got her for Easter one when I was younger. That bunny really does have a story behind her. So, I guess that’s why I like that one so much; a simple yet fun childhood memory.

I think the original-flavor Rabbit is the one with the most Webkinz-y aesthetic, but the Vampire Bunny is really unique and cute and the most monstery (which automatically means I am going to be extremely biased towards it of course). My tastes are rather weird though, so I don’t think either of those are actually gonna win (maybe the original Rabbit will have a chance though cause of nostalgia). I’m gonna call it right now, though, my prediction is that either one of the Signatures or the Rockerz one is gonna win. In any case, may the best bun win!

I’d like to say that the original Rabbit goes pretty high on my list (for old times sake ;) ) But it already competes with the Spring celebration bunny! I’d say my favorite is the team of Lil Springtime Bunnies.

My favorite Webkinz bunny has always been my sig. Dutch Bunny. May the best bunny win! (Just wondering, what will the winning bunny actually win? A place in the Webkinz Pet Hall of Fame?)

    red velvet bunny

  9. ilovemlp22 says:

But why did you leave out the Sig. Arctic Hare?

    • Fracktail says:

Good question! Despite looking very similar, rabbits and hares are two very different species! While rabbits are small and make nests underground, hares are rather large and tend to make their nests above-ground (although some rabbits do make above-ground nests, they’re the exception). Hares also tend to change colors as the seasons change (like arctic hares). They look very similar because both rabbits and hares belong to the taxonomic group (I forget what kind of group someone help me out) Lagomorpha, along with pikas and some other animals I can’t remember right now. Anyways this got way longer than I intended (chalk it up to me being an awful bionerd whoops), but I hope this infodump was at least a bit interesting! :P

Ohhh, okay. =P I was wondering, too. Thanks, Fracktail!

        • TaffyKitty12 says:

Ah okay, thanks for telling us, Fracktail! I thought I read somewhere one time that they were two different species, but I forgot, heheh :P But thanks again for letting us know, I’m glad I now know that they’re different species! (And that definitely explains why it wasn’t shown on here)

What about the bunny we can use in Amazing World . This bunnys ears are attached and does a job on 2 websites . A busy bunny .

          • tinygma says:

NO SHAME in being smart “BE PROUD” ;) . Remember the kids in school standing in the hall not behaving. THINK of it this way . They look in the class room window and the kids they see could someday be their boss. When you don’t pay attention more then likely they will never be the boss only workers ;) . So SMART is cool :) !!
