I completely missed the vote somehow… but that first is scary close to Disney territory XD
I’m confused by the gallery and how these are chosen. Why are there themes that had higher ratings not here? I wish the gallery was a bit more streamlined so there’s no voting after finalists are picked as I’m thinking this is partly the reason. Anyway, wish the Wheel of Wow theme by Msamommy was included, it’s fantastic as were a ton of others. So many artistic people here.
Ratings on the gallery are not considered. Finalists are chosen by Ganz employees.
How much are the votes taken into account? Because according to the comments here, most people liked the Gatsby and Bayou themes. Can you reveal which theme actually came in first place with the voting?
Then why have the gallery set up like that – I’d prefer to look at pages with multiple images than go page by page through so many entries. It’s extremely time consuming.
Because we’re using the Share Center, which isn’t specifically designed for contests, to showcase entries. The alternative is to use the contest system we have on Webkinz Newz, which does not let anyone see any entries.
I do NOT envy the judges here, everyone did such a fantastic job on their designs and I’d be so honored to have any of them in my home! Best of luck to all!
I voted for Gatsby but it was a really tough choice, there were so many great ideas this year! I hope some of these ideas get reused for future years, it would just be such a shame for them to go to waste! Like, I feel as though future years shouldn’t even ask for new submissions because these are just THAT good. Or maybe instead of doing another Christmas theme this year (there are so many at this point) there could be a second general/non-holiday theme. Like, Christmas is nice and all but that’s a LOT of Christmas themes. It’d be awesome to shake things up and utilise the full potential of these fabulous submissions!
Hmm…Super tough choice! Gatsby by or Bayou. ?!? Everyone did a great job !
For me, it’s a really close call between two of them. It’s a toss up between the Bayou Princess and the Eclectic themes.
