Hey there trophy collectors! The Waddell’s Icecap Adventure Trophy Challenge starts TODAY—but don’t leave it to last minute… You’ll only have until Friday, March 22nd (midnight, Eastern Standard Time), to complete it!
Here’s how to play. Starting TODAY, March 18th, look for the Waddell’s Icecap Adventure Trophy Challenge icon on your Webkinz account. It will be displayed along the left side of the screen (web only).
Click on the icon to review your tasks. There are 3 tasks you’ll need to complete by midnight, March 223nd (EST) to earn the Waddell’s Icecap Adventure Trophy:
- Earn 260 KinzCash playing Waddell’s Icecap Adventure in the Games Arcade
- Spin the Wheel of Deluxe 4 times
- Earn 35 KinzCash playing Iceberg Escapades in the Games Arcade
Help Waddell stock up on fish for the winter! Catch fish while guiding Waddell through tricky terrain. Catch red fish for a speed bonus and gold fish for extra points.
Watch out for holes in the ice. Waddell will be too cold to collect fish if he gets wet too many times!
Complete the Challenge by Friday, March 22nd (midnight, Eastern Standard Time), to win the trophy along with a Frozen Dining Chair!

Super cute trophy! Thanks for the challenge :) If anyone needs a tip for Waddell… To avoid spinning in one spot, make sure your cursor is ahead of Waddell. He spins when he is in the same spot as your cursor. Don’t panic! Try to get slightly ahead of the fish. It’s just like catching a ground ball… that happens to change directions lol. And for Iceburg Escapades, Take your time! Read the instructions. It takes a couple games to get the hang of it, but it’s doable! Use the side arrows to spin your penguin in the right direction, you really won’t use the up/down ones much, if at all. And make sure your “arrow” is over the iceburg far enough or the penguin will fall short. Remember, the more you play, the better you will become! Trophies don’t come easy in life, you have to work for them. Good luck guys, you can do it!!
Thanks acoolaunt! I agree with everything you just posted. I had never played the Escapades game and finally got the hang of it and was able to get the 35kc needed. The Icecap Adventure game is far from my best game, but it’s getting done and for once I’m thankful I have only one deluxe account. Thanks for your encouragement!

Well, I’m afraid I won’t be doing this challenge :P The trophy is adorable, but my Deluxe expired last month, and I dunno when I’ll be able to renew again =/ (It’s always a pain trying to renew it, especially since I’ve been experiencing so many estore issues as of late) Even if I did have my membership active, I don’t know if I would’ve been able to participate in this, anyway ‘^^ I kinda wish they’d extend these things into the weekends, instead of ending them on Fridays. I’ve had barely any time to play on WW during the week as of late :c Oh well. To those who participate: hope you’re able to get your trophy!
You should state that this is for deluxe members only. I thought I could play but I am not deluxe, so it won’t let me play.
I stink at both of these games – fingers and eyes don’t do well on these two – have fun to all those who like these games. I also see two different dates on challenge icon and Today’s Announcement notice that shows up when you first log on.

ALL trophy challenges should be for ALL players! I understand why “free members” can’t participate in challenges, but those that are paying for Webkinz with a code (buying a plushy or one from the WShop or eStore), should be allowed to play ALL trophy challenges! THIS IS NOT A FAIR CHALLENGE!

Yes, it is nice to take a break from Webkinz. I love this game so much, but I’m tired of the challenges, plus doing all the “Fill The Heart” stuff. Sometimes I just want to play with my pets and work on designing rooms. A challenge, be it for a trophy or cool prizes, should be given occasionally, as a special treat, maybe once a month. Plus ALL challenges and trophy challenges should be for ALL players who pay for codes or a plush/virtual pet. “Free Play Members” could not play until they play for a plush/virtual pet. I’m not a big fan of the the trophies anyway. I don’t always try and win one. But, I’m all for making it fair for all Webkinz players who do love to get them. Trophies should NOT just be for Deluxe Members!

Well, despite this being a Deluxe challenge, I have no interest in frustrating myself. I don’t want that trophy bad enough to sit through 80 failed attempts at Ice Cap and 35 failed attempts at the Ice berg game. The ability to control Waddel requires dexterity and eye-hand co-ordination that I just do not possess. Waddel’s random swirling is aggravating at best. If I could give my challenge away to one of you regulars, I certainly would because I will never finish this one.
I’m same way in not being able to do these games – good luck everyone. also on Today’s announcements that pop up when you first log in – it says it’s till 24th – no 22nd. Might want to get that fixed.
It’s not fair to make us excited then to realize it’s for deluxe members only. Just call it a deluxe challenge. And then the rest of the challenges are usually not for free members.
I beg your pardon? Weren’t the last few trophy challenges for everyone? Dogbeard’s Battle trophy, Checkers Trophy and Bananza trophy? I believe all players were qualified to win.
I think CuteSarahFriend means all the awesome monthly deluxe challenges with cool prizes, but your right too dixiecup there are a lot of challenges for non deluxe members.
