In order to activate the floating prize, you need to place your cursor on the “Contests” tab above. A drop down menu will appear. Click on the “Events” tab. That will bring up a page with all of the current “Events” available. Click on the paragraph that shows a picture of the item you want to “Catch” to win that prize. Keep looking at different stories/topics on Webkinz Newz until you see the item floating on your screen. When you see it, click on it and you will win that item. (You can only win each item once per day.) Hope this helps! :)

I didn’t find out about the contest til the 11th, but since then I’ve gotten the prizes without these steps. I just browse webkinznewz and it has floated by fairly soon after I logged in. Saw your steps today and tried it, but prize still hasn’t floated by. :( I think it’s random.
It is not necessary to do that. But whatever works for you, I guess.

I like some of the prizes, like this weeks, but next weeks…not really next weeks. I don’t want any zodiac stuff!!! :( *sigh* I already have the air outfit, and I don’t like those zodiac sign! :( But, I will collect them to trade, I guess. The only prize from next week I don’t have is the brown shirt with the wings. Everything else I already have. Oh well. At least this week’s prizes are great!! :)
