We’ve found a bug with the Toy Chase in Webkinz Next. To make up for the inconvenience, we’ve extended the Toy Chase to December 29th. This way you’ll still be able to collect plenty of holiday toys!
As you continue to participate in the Toy Chase, please be mindful of the following bug:
Currently, when users play a game in the arcade and then return to Kinzville to collect Toy Balls, they cannot see any of the fallen Toy Balls.
To avoid the bug, please collect your Toy Balls first or log out and back in after playing in the arcade to continue collecting Toy Balls.
We are sorry for the inconvenience. But, now you can collect falling Toy Balls in Kinzville until December 29th.

So the solution to the problem is now to drop 5 balls at a time? I noticed over the past two days that I’m only seeing 5 drop so now we are forced to sit for 50 minutes to gather balls IF they are retrievable? How does this fix the main issue that people have had that this is too time consuming. Please, no one wants to sit and wait for this long – it’s like actual work. Can we please fix this properly?
Unrelated: Does anyone know how to get to level 4 on Arte’s Adventure? I can’t clear the large gap where the bees are flying.
The trick is to point vertically and land on the mushrooms on the trees!

Is anybody else besides me also experiencing connection issues while this event is still going on? I logged off and then back in again to try to catch more bouncy balls after I had to go to the arcade to complete a request, but while waiting for more bouncy balls, the words “connection issue” started flashing on my screen. I closed the game and tried to log back on, but “connection issue” was still flashing on my screen before I could try to log in again.
Hello WebPets19Love: I’ve not had that issue, but I’ve not been on today as of yet. I’ve had other issues, but not that one in particular. I hope that’s cleared up for you!
Still not finding the 50 ball limit per day. Maybe 1 to 3 dropped, then nothing more all day. Also, the snowman game is not working right. Only 50 kinzcash rewarded at the end instead of 150. Also, the word bubble “the fantastic snowman is open” pops up every 5 seconds and doesn’t stop! I had to log out to keep from going mad.
That has happened to me before, too — annoying! There was once a bug where when you payed a game, all pets visiting the arcade would show up (in miniature) “standing” in your game! Weird!
That happened to me today. I thought I read it wrong the first time, but it happened all three times I did the snowman.

It worked! But when I went in the Market, I had to log out and back in to get more balls to drop.
I go to look for toys as soon as I login before going to the arcade, and nothing ever falls. I wait for 20 minutes before I call it quits.
Let’s remember that when something is updated it doesn’t seem to hit the systems until after 9:30am ET USA on the day it’s expected to start. So, maybe later today it will get better.
And writing this comment finally got the candy cane to float across my screen for me.
Thank you very much for extending the event, but it doesn’t change the fact that sometimes only 3 or 4 balls fall during a time period – at that rate it is too time consuming for most players. This event has the potential to be great fun, but please do some tweaking if you plan to do the egg chase again next spring. Also, allowing us to choose our own prize would be so much better than random awards.
