The dino playground and the Irish pub are awesome.
All of this weeks room designs are AWESOME! However, there are two designs that I REALLY love! #1- Spaceship Automeal by Grandpascutie. That is such a cool design! I would have never thought of that, and I LOVE to design rooms with the Space and Galaxy themes! (REALLY wish they would bring the Space Theme back to the WShop, for KinzCash, of course!) And…#2 – Irish Pub by Rocketdogdolly! What a great design! Where did you find the barrels? Love those! Love how you used the clover squares, too! Webkinz Players are so creative! :-) Peace!

Good eye Alice44! I usually catch typos in everything. (Especially in books I am reading.) I did not catch this one. I don’t think I even read the introduction, but went directly to the first room design.
There are so many good rooms this time around!! Wow guys! Great work!
Not even 1 NEXT room? Is there a boycott that I am not aware of?
I’d say maybe it’s just because there are less submissions, Next is still building up a collection of items that you can decorate rooms with. They’re doing great! But there are almost 19 years worth of materials to choose from on Classic still. ;) Just a few for Next. They’re coming!
sadly this isn’t true, many of us have sent in lots and lots of rooms and nothing showcased :(
My4sweeties, seems odd doesn’t it. I know I have sent in TONS and nothing and am aware others have too.
@My4Sweeties – I only play on Classic, as I don’t care for Next. It’s nice and I’m glad we have Next. I just don’t care for the look of the characters in Next. I guess I’m just too old and tired to switch. Ha! ;-) However, I don’t think Webkinz Newz is intentionally ignoring Next on the Room Designs page. I have to stop myself from feeling “left out” when Next gets the things that we really and truly wanted on Classic, but can’t get because of the older program that runs the site. It’s not fair, but understandable. I think that there should be TWO Webkinz Newz sites. I realize that’s a silly idea, but it would allow Classic and Next to each have their own Newz site. I don’t like reading about all the cool things that Next gets all the time. Happy for y’all, but it’s rather sad for Classic. It’s like looking in the window of the Candy Store and knowing you don’t have the money to buy even the smallest piece of candy…and you REALLY want that candy. Ha! Well…maybe they can’t have two Webkinz Newz, but I think they could do better on making sure BOTH Classic and Next, are represented equally. Maybe one month show all Next room designs and the next month show all Classic room designs? I’ve seen the Next rooms here and have really loved some of the designs. I’m always looking for inspiration for new room ideas, and Next has had some really nice one. One of the ways we can keep Webkinz going is for both Classic AND Next to work together. :-) Peace, my Webkinz Friends!
Congratulations to everyone who is featured this week – well done! This is really my favorite weekly Newz article. I have to give a big shout out to Granpascutie and the Spaceship Automeal room design. What a creative use of the new Trophy cases and the train signs (I think) behind them to make them look like they could be Star Trek food replicators!! I am a trekkie from way, way back, as in TOS way, way back. :-)
