The contest was sort of announced. Well, it was on the salt and pepper Dalmation and global panda’s unboxing videos. The name of the article said nothing about the contest. However, if you clicked on the article and scrolled all of the way to the bottom, there was something that said “name me contest! What would you name this cute pet? Leave your answer below by April 3 11:59 ET” or something like that. So, I guess you can say that it was sorta announced

Hi tinygma! I am absolutely a real person, and I almost fainted from holding my breath when I saw that email from Salley Cat in my inbox. I couldn’t believe it! I read it several times to make sure that I was understanding it correctly. Like many of you have commented on here, I am one of those people that never wins things, so now I know for a fact that there is hope for anyone! I can’t wait to receive and adopt my new dalmatian, as soon as my family helps me to claim my prize!
