I was so excited when I saw (and bought) this pet at Hallmark!!! While I waited a week or two for the new Webkinz to arrive at Hallmark, I thought of naming my Shiba Inu Reimu after Hakurei Reimu from the Touhou Project. I’m not an avid fan (truth be told, I don’t really know much about it), but Reimu was the first Japanese name I thought of when I saw this pet. I don’t know if I’ll actually name her that, though. I’ll wait a bit just in case I think of a better name. :) (I actually made a Reimu costume for the plush pet! I made it out of polar fleece since I find it’s easy to work with and is fairly forgiving. XD I’m trying to decide whether or not to upload it to the Share Center.)

And after much debating, I adopted this pet yesterday! And her name is…Hakurei Reimu! I decided that that was what I wanted to name her; besides, I had her Japanese-themed room all ready for her! She’s really cute on Webkinz (and her eyes aren’t completely black! They’re really close to what the plush’s eyes look like) and a lot of fun to hang out around Webkinz World with. :)

And…I made a huge mistake by doing that. Apparently, the character I named my pet after is from something really…not good. My poor Shiba Inu! :( I’ll still have to call her by her name, but I might not do that for a little longer. I should have known better…

Awww, I love this pet!! Not so much the virtual….but, the plush is what really matters to me. :) it’s PSI and PSF are great too. If I got this pet, (which I want too!!!) I would name him Hachiko.

    • LUV says:

Hachiko is the PERFECT name! -L U V P.S. If I ever get this pet, I’m SO naming him that!

      • MisakiKt says:

Oh no. The name Hachiko reminds me of a really sad story. Its about a dog named hachiko and he is well trained. His owner, works throught the day and right after his work, Hachiko waits by a train station to say hi to him. But one day, his owner died at work and Hachiko waited by the train station for days. He never came back. Then after that, Hachiko died at the very same spot. And just to tell you, it’s a REAL story. (;´༎ຶД༎ຶ`) Today, a statue stands in Tokyo, Japan. My dad has been there before. (;´༎ຶД༎ຶ`) (;´༎ຶД༎ຶ`) (;´༎ຶД༎ຶ`) (;´༎ຶД༎ຶ`) its so sad
