The concept of Zums was actually created in early 2004 although they weren’t added to Webkinz until 2009.
Originally Zums were going to be found anywhere in Webkinz World – like popping in from the side while you were decorating your home. That’s why they have speed-based names – Zippy Zums were going to zip in and zip out quickly making them the hardest to catch.
As Webkinz World grew and evolved, we came up with a new plan for the Zums, a special area where they could exist together and players could visit them called Zumwhere.
Not sure what Zums should look like, we invited several of the artists on the Webkinz team to create their versions of Zums and eventually we decided on the designs that are now in the game.

I have a Zype zum plush and a some zum clips Zoola and Zed. Zed is the one in the picture above on the webkinz trivia. And Zoola is the zum sticking his tongue out. I really like this webkinz history please keep making more :)
I still have my little zum plushie, my favorite are the giggly zums :)
SILLY is not a type of Zums….I did not even have to look…I have several zums on my accounts. I also still have some I did not adopt yet.
