Hello Webkinz Newz readers, it’s Ella McWoof, your official “Webkinz Votes 2014” election reporter!
Daisy Doe, an aspiring vegetarian chef who recently arrived in Kinzville, announced yesterday (October 3rd) that she wants to run for mayor of Kinzville, launching Kinzville’s first ever mayoral election: “Webkinz Votes 2014”!
Daisy mentioned in a speech submitted to Webkinz Newz that if she becomes mayor she will replace Mr. Moo’s ice cream cart in the Kinzville Park with her own healthy snack stand. She also promises to replace the unhealthy foods in the W-Shop with healthier alternatives and increase the health boosts of foods in the shop.
The news has Webkinz everywhere talking. It also has everyone wondering: Who will be next to join the mayoral race? Potential candidates have until October 31st to officially join the race and announce their campaigns. Anyone is eligible to enter and I will release special reports as this story unfolds.
I spoke with Mr. Moo briefly about Daisy’s idea to close down his stand and asked if he would be joining the mayoral race and run against Daisy Doe. He said, and I quote, “I have a business to run and won’t be running for mayor at this point. I am confident that everyone in Kinzville will vote to keep my cart in the park.”
The actual election that will decide who will become the mayor of Kinzville will happen right here on Webkinz Newz from November 28th – 30th. Election results will be announced on Monday, Dec 1st.

WOOHOO!!! We are on a roll! The people that said yes is at 16.05% and the people that said no is at 84.03%! Let’s hope that this means Daisy will NOT be elected for mayor! :D
I like fruits and veggies , but I also like a nice treat once in awhile. I agree that all food items in moderation can be good for you. I love Mr Moo and his Ice Cream cart, and would not be happy to see him gone. Ms Doe could open her own restaurant , give out her smoothies and leave things as they are. I feed my pets many garden fresh food that I grow myself, and she should realize few will vote to get rid of candies, chocolate, or Mr. Moo. I won’t.
DID ANYONE THINK OF THIS !!!! ALMOST NONE of the RECIPIES WILL WORK WITH OUT THE JUNK FOODS !!!! I CAN’T SEE THEM GOING ANYWHERE !!! I can see some NEW RECIPIES MAYBE ;)
Hey Daisy! Can you imagine having a life with NO sugar at all? not one teensy little bit? You would be missing out at candy on Halloween, you would be finding apples and broccoli in your stocking instead of a nice treat at Christmas, no chocolate on Easter, Watching everyone at your birthday party eat your cake when you can’t, not one bite of that delicious pumpkin pie your mom made for Thanksgiving, and not even getting to eat the chocolate your loved ones have given you on valentines day. See what I mean? I can’t imagine you giving THAT to our precious webkinz pets. Why do you care what we eat? You should mind your own business, and just be happy YOU are trying to be healthier than we are. Just saying….. ^.^

I think eating healthy is good, but I also think kinz should have a choice of what to eat! Sweet snacks are good once in a while, and I don’t want to see them disappear! I hope somebody runs against Daisy!
I think I know who is running against Daisy Doe! Ms. Cowline! On the updated webkinz.com homepage, to the left of the purple unicorn, you can see Daisy Doe’s face, then, look to the left of the Log In sign, there is Ms. Cowline’s face on a poster right next to Daisy’s! That might mean she is running against her! I hope so!

VOTE NO FOR DOE! Wow, she sure moved into Kinzville and decided to take over quickly. Apparently she is the type that thinks her opinions are right and everybody else’s are completely wrong. The only right way is her way. Also, she is into extremes like always eating healthy snacks. There is nothing wrong with ice cream or cookies once in a while. Moderation is the key.
