Hello Webkinz Newz readers, Ella McWoof here as your official Webkinz Votes 2018 reporter. It’s an election year in Kinzville and together, we will be deciding who should become the mayor. Of course, mayor Quincy Quack is up for re-election so, it’s possible we’ll see him serving a second term or Sophie Stockwell, PJ Collie or Dex Dangerous may take over as Kinzville’s new leader.
To help you decide who to vote for, throughout the month of November, you’ll be able to meet each mayoral candidate in the Kinzville Park and pick up some rare election prizes! Each candidate will also be releasing a speech when they appear in the park, that will reveal their campaign promises.
Sophie, Dex, PJ and Dr. Quack will be appearing for 5 days in the park, and the first time you click on them each day, you’ll be awarded a gift box containing one of three prizes. There is a campaign sign, plushy and cap to collect that you can wear proudly to support your favorite candidate.
Here’s a look at each candidate, when you’ll be able to meet them and an image of each prize:
Remember, you’ll want to read each candidate’s speech to find out their campaign promises which will help you decide who to vote for. Speeches will be published on Webkinz Newz when each candidate appears in the park.
Voting will take place, right here on Webkinz Newz, from November 29th – December 2nd. You can only vote once, and we will be publishing the election results on Monday, December 3rd.

Some of these candidates have no good reason for running and/or have no
political experience. Why would one vote for PJ, a teenager who is only experienced in clothing? And why would one vote for Dex, who is a self-centered and egotistical actor?
Cowabelle is a teenager, and was the first mayor. I think she did a good job. I always thought that PJ and Sophie were in their early 20s. I think both will be good mayors, but I have to wait to see what their campaign promises will be before I decide who I like better.
It’s a shame that we can’t have a hamster for mayor of Kinzville. They just run along in their hamster wheel. Their slogan could be ‘Keeping everything you love in WW the same!’ I would vote for a candidate that would run and deliver on that promise.

Has anyone else had the problem of the “Webkinz Video Challenge”s not loading, and forcing a log out to do anything, thereby making impossible to visit the park?

To be honest, I don’t want to re-elect Dr. Quack! (Sorry Doc!) And Dex is super self- Centered, (Who would vote for HIM? XD) So, I think PJ would be great! (I know I haven’t heard the speeches yet but It’ll be either PJ or Sophie.)
