Even though I have re-opened my clinic in the Clubhouse, I still always enjoy the opportunity to duck out to the Kinzville Park, meeting even more of my fellow citizens, and listening to their questions and concerns.
I’ve listened and I’ve heard YOU, citizens of Kinzville! I’ve heard that your Player Appreciation Day prizes don’t make you feel appreciated enough!
If I get the honor of another term in office, I promise that all future Player Appreciation Day prizes will no longer be clothing, and will ALWAYS be able to be sent, traded, or sold!

Yesterday I finally went deluxe however my deluxe code isn’t working and it says my account is already a member! I am not able to use deluxe parts of my membership and my credit card was charged/ I got a code, can you help with this?

Yesterday I sent the Glampire coffee table, fireplace, organ and sofa from Webkinz Next to the two Webkinz Classic accounts I maintain. They were taken out of Next but didn’t cross over to the Classic accounts. That was a lot of hard earned KinzCash for items to disappear. Will the maintenance fix this or will I need to contact customer service? Appreciate all you do for us. Thanks.
Neither — the issue is being worked on right now and your items will arrive when it is fixed.

I am wondering if our items will be fixed anytime ever or if they will be forever broken. The log jammer ride has been broken since the major update a few years ago. It’s nice Next is getting lots of attention but it’s time to get the original game back to par.
@operaghost, I agree. I got the Log Jammer Ride in a Welcome Box when I adopted a pet. It just sits there doing nothing, so what’s the point in having it? I have read here on Webkinz Newz that it probably will never be fixed, due to the loss of Adobe Flash. :-( I do not like Next, nor the fact that they seem to be working on making it better than Classic Webkinz. I’ve spent a lot of real money on Webkinz Classic over the years. I think they should spend more time working on finding a way to fix all our “broken/no longer working” Classic items. There is a huge list of items that no longer work. It’s time to “work” on “fixing” Webkinz Classic!
Please keep in mind that Webkinz Classic is written in a programming language that no one uses anymore. Updating Classic will involve re-writing it from scratch, and it took 15+ years to get it to where it is now. Webkinz Next uses current technology, which is why it’s so much easier to update and add features to. Almost all of our competitors shut down their Flash sites in favor of new ones — we’re one of the only ones that runs both concurrently.
@Sally Webkinz, I know we understand that, but it is very frustrating when the current technology can’t replace the old technology. I think all of us older Webkinz Players do understand and realize that you are apparently doing the best you can, but it is hard for those of us that have been loyal to Webkinz for many years. We DO love our Classic Webkinz! I think, for me at least, I find it hard to understand just “why” that if upgraded technology is so “awesome”, why can’t it be made to work with the older technology? I am old. I still prefer vinyl lps over streaming music. I prefer dial phones over cell phones. LOL! But, seriously, I do understand Webkinz point of view and issues with technology. Maybe you could make what we do have, like things that we can’t “sell/send/trade”, be things that we can “sell/send/trade”. Make more room themes and stop retiring the good stuff. Bring back items for all the various holiday’s, available all year. Stop making items on the wheels that are apparently “special”, so hard to get! More items for KinzCash and not ePoints! There are things Webkinz could do to make it more fun on Classic. I, for one, will not switch Next, just to play Webkinz. I will go to my Next account occasionally just to buy and send the juice boxes to make the Fall Window. I just don’t like the look or “feel” of Next. Sorry. I’m a diehard Webkinz Classic Player. :-)
Aww, I agree, alucard! Hopefull this happens someday. I prefer Classic as well, but Next is always fun. =) I miss Amazing World, Mazin’ Hamsters, Nakamas etc so much.
While I definitely understand your frustration about the Webkinz items being hard to find, making everything available all the time all year would ruin the fun for a lot of players, especially collectors. Webkinz has been bringing back a lot of retired, older items the last 5 years or so, but beforehand these items were hard to find and making them available again ruined the trading system a little bit in some areas. Overall though, I do agree with you. I prefer the old stuff to newer stuff, even the things you’ve mentioned (I even love dial phones and vinyl records!) But with the coding stuff it can be hard to get others who actually know the code, and a lot of the coding for Webkinz is very fragile and would break the game even more if touched. I think that making more new tradeable items is a very good idea though!

this might not be the right place to ask this, But why is there no peek or month food today?
There is currently an issue with items being transferred from Webkinz Newz. Peek A Newz will resume when this is resolved.
I have a concern that I have been emailing ganz support for over the last month and a half about my friend’s missing diamonds on Ghost Steel Night 0 “Who is a big kid now? Fill Your Baby’s growth.” We have absolutely gotten nowhere and ganz has stopped responding to my emails.
Love Mayor Dr. Quack. Getting the Player Appreciation Day prize upon log in would be nice, so that they can be received when only able to access using Webkinz mobile account. People do vacation without their laptops (sometimes).

Is anyone having difficulty with the Pet of the Month, Snow Lynx? I adopted mine today and I didn’t get the Pet of the Month giftbox and it won’t let me do the special activities for Snow Lynx even though I adopted it. :( I am really hoping it gets fixed soon or I’ll have to contact them.
