First of all – thank you again to everyone who entered our 2017 Pet Design Contest. We can’t say enough how difficult it has been to choose a winner. There were almost 900 amazing entries which we narrowed down to a list of ten wonderful finalists. We read your comments and we discussed it among our team.
We decided to go with a unique pet based on a real animal that we think will make a great addition to the Webkinz family. The adorable Axolotl by Taydarsauce is our winning design and will be available in the eStore starting on Webkinz Day 2017.

Hey greenmagic77! Yes, it is over a year, in fact, 18 months from when you posted those pictures, and this comment. I was surfing through Webkinz Newz when I saw this article and clicked on it. I read your comment and had to check it out. I wish I had seen this sooner! Your work was excellent, and I know that you can become an amazing artist if you keep up the hard work! You are talented and keep drawing! It took a while to find it, but definitely worth the wait… the 40 minute wait. Let’s just say that from now to when you posted your artwork, there has been a bunch uploaded.

Have your sister check her other email address — the one attached to her Share Center account is not the same one attached to her Webkinz Newz account.

Mandy and Sally, my sister said that she still can not find the email. Maybe she deleted it by accident. She said she also checked her junk folder but still did not find it. Thanks for all of your help. I’m so sorry for all of the trouble. Thank you guys so much for taking the time to try and help me. It is if I don’t get the deluxe membership. I am just glad that my butterfly got chosen as one of the top 10 pets out of 900 drawings. Being on webkinz newz was cool enough. Thanks for choosing my butterfly! I am glad that Ganz liked it. :)
