Winning Room Theme Revealed!

I am pleased to announce that the Christmas Cabin room theme received the most votes and will become this year’s official Webkinz holiday room theme!

Thank you to everyone who took the time to vote. The Christmas Cabin room theme will be released in the W-Shop on December 1st, but check Webkinz Newz often for updates. We will be showing off the concept drawings for each item as they are being created by our talented artists here at Webkinz World headquarters.

This theme will be available for KinzCash throughout the month of December. Last year’s Countryside Christmas room theme will also be available, however, you’ll only be able to get it from the Webkinz mobile app.

Are you happy that the Christmas Cabin room theme won? What items do you think should be included in this theme? Please leave your feedback and item ideas in the comment section below…

YAYY! I hope it includes a counter with gingerbread men baking supplies :)

Happy pets love items that can help keep them happy! It would be SOOO great if this theme could include a festive twist on those six items pets so adore! I would therefore LOVE to see Christmas versions of the following: trampoline, treadmill, bathtub, sink, shower, and pool! What happy little webkinz we’ll have then! – Very excited about this theme! Can’t wait!

Oh yes I LOVE this idea! How cute could a Christmas swimming pool be? Floating cranberries or holly leaves? It could have twinkling lights all around the edge! So many cute things could be done with these items and having both a cabin and holiday look would make them so adorable!

A Christmas trampoline and treadmill are things I’ve been waiting for forever! PLEASE PLEASE do this! I have tons of rooms I could use them in. I’m so happy the cabin theme won, this would make it perfect.

These are definitely unique items for a Christmas theme. I think it’s awesome, most people start thinking about fitness for New Year, but this way our Kinz could eat cookies AND lose weight LOL

        • komodrag says:

Too funny dixiecup! I hadn’t even thought of how in shape it would keep our little webkinz to eat tons of holiday goodies and then jump in the holiday pool to do a few laps and burn off those calories!

All the themes sounded great, but I’m glad this one won and I would really love to see the shower, bath, sink, bouncy, treadmill and pool included. This is such a good idea especially because it’s cabin and could look more natural holiday with holly leaves and stuff like that. I better start saving just in case.

    • karnival says:

Useful items in the theme would be SO GREAT! I bet a lot of people have multiple Christmas rooms too which could use these things and we haven’t seen it in a long time, or ever, I’m not sure. Anyway, I would really like having a pool and trampoline and all those things.

    • kapakool says:

B.S.S.P.T.T. – YES to all these items! It would be cute if the treadmill did a little jingle, like the sound effect used for opening Ms. Birdie’s holiday collection. And maybe the pool could be like a hot spring? It is a cabin/Christmas theme so a holly covered rock hot spring would work well.

    • laprasia7 says:

Snowglobe bathtub!!! I’ve always wanted one! Having Christmas cabin things that could make my pet happy would be really cool, they should do this!

    • ghastlio3 says:

Oh yes please! Rustic Christmas cabin sinks and showers and tubs? Pools and treadmills and trampolines?!! YES YES YES!!

    • vulpixer9 says:

Happiness decorations are so much fun. Christmas cabin themed happiness decorations are even better!! The hot springs holiday pool would be too too cute. Jingle tread mill, snow shower, I love this idea more and more. Plus kitchen stuff too? YES. Have we ever had a Christmas sandwich maker? I’ve been waiting for a snow themed one forever and ever, that could work, Christmas theme would be more fun though! I hope the fun and kitchen items get made because those would be so fantastic!

Yay! I voted for that one! Just one thing, don’t make things vary over price ok? :)

  4. GreenSecret says:

It is not the theme I voted for, but I think it will be an awesome addition. Thanks Ganz!

  5. starrie says:

    Definitely a bed/dresser/couch…

My recommendations for the artists: Try to make this theme unique, and not too similar to other log cabin themes (that goes for the wallpaper and flooring mostly). As for furniture and such, please make: a fireplace, as I’m sure everyone loves them (I certainly do); a bed with a pretty quilt with that sort of classic Christmas pattern on it; perhaps some presents wrapped like that pattern; a large rug with the theme’s pattern. Alrighty, that’s all I got for now. =P

this theme will save me tons of kinzcash, cause I will not be buying much of it.do not care for this theme at all.

  8. _emiemiemiemiemi_ says:

Aww.. darn it. XP This was my second choice and I’m sure to be fine, but I had really liked the SantaKinz Cottage. Well, hopefully they’ll bring that SantaKinz theme back next time we do a Christmas theme. Cause I really loved that one! =P

    • TaffyKitty12 says:

Ah, me too, emi! I was really rooting for the SantaKinz Cottage, as well. I do hope Ganz takes your idea into consideration, as it would be awesome if they brought it back next time we vote for a theme! ^-^

    • ilovemoonie says:

I do agree with you guys that the SantaKinz Cottage was really nice, and I would have loved making a room out of it, but I dunno, I guess I just saw myself using the Christmas Cabin theme more, since I feel like it would go well mixed in with other items, whereas I’d probably only use the SantaKinz Cottage for one or two rooms, if that makes sense. (Plus, I really liked the pattern) Still, though, I’d love it if they decided to make the SantaKinz Cottage theme someday! Maybe they’ll do like they did with the hotel theme, and bring it back as an option to vote for next time? :)

  9. dixiecup says:

Oooo, it’s going to be a Rustic Old Fashioned kind of Christmas this year! I love it! Back to traditional family values and simpler times. It’s really neat that it seems to be the group consensus. I can’t wait for the release of the component sketches of the rest of the theme. Hopefully there’s a nice Sleigh bed, too. For sugar plums to dance in dreamy heads.

    • Beckinz8 says:

I like how you think @dixiecup! You got me thinking about old-fashioned homemade Christmas ornaments on our freshly cut tree. Things like popcorn and cranberry strings for garlands, paper chains, and baked cookie ornaments, would look great decorating a rustic cabin and Christmas tree. The view from the wallpaper or windows should be stunning – like a little cozy ski chalet on a mountain looking out over blankets of fresh snow, and pine trees, down into a valley below. I picture lots of glass, like Mandy’s favorite conservatory wallpaper, but chalet style. I hope that makes sense. I do have an additional request – if the designers create kitchen or bathroom pieces, please make a complete room. What I mean is, if you make a rustic stove, and icebox, please also make kitchen counters/cabinets, and a sink to match. I sometimes find it frustrating when you have designed a fabulous stove, and fridge, and I want to use them to design a whole kitchen, but I have to hunt around for counters and a sink that don’t really match just to complete the room. Thanks for taking the time and care to ask the players what we think!

      • dixiecup says:

Oooo and could they be in the contrasting colours do you decorate with either red or green or a combination of both? The counters could be red on one face, green on another and plaids on the other two, like you did the Easter eggs and the columns for the Garden Oasis theme?

      • ghastlio3 says:

Very true about the complete set! If there’s a kitchen I wouldn’t mind a blender and sandwich maker to go along with the fridge stove counters etc. Very important point to make about trying to tie it all together.

Yay! Would like a window bench with bookcase or storage!
