I think she’s cute when she flies, even if she is not supposed to.
It’s so strange but I adopted an ostrich from a plush code on April 4, and didn’t receive the pet of the month loot bag until I logged out and logged back in again. It didn’t seem normal. Glitches are not fun, but this pet is really cute! Her name is Peppy Springsteps. I’m not sure which prize to choose. Is there an expiration date on pet of the month gift boxes, or will it stay in my dock until I open it?
I named mine Ozi Mandy :)
I called mine Richie. I find he doesn’t move very well, have been having problems getting him to walk where I want him to even though there are no obstructions, very odd.
Well, I, too, am disappointed that my Ostrich does not use her long legs on her PSI trampoline :-( The trampoline would have been perfect for her to get exercise as well as have fun! Wish it had been thought all the way thru. She’s still a cutie though :-)

I agree that seeing them walk on a treadmill would have been cute! It is a bit odd that they fly instead of walk.
Why does the above description state that it is a flightless bird and that it’s long legs will get in motion on the PSI treadmill?? This particular ostrich flies, it doesn’t walk on it’s treadmill either. Sorry, Ganz, but your description of this pet is very misleading.

Yes! Exactly. Ostriches are flightless birds. The ostrich is very cute but it’s very disappointing to see that it flies rather than walks. And yes, the walking bird would’ve been perfect on it’s treadmill. What a shame. Maybe they can fix this? It really should be changed if anyone sees this that can help. ;)

Absolutely. Fish gotta swim. Rabbits and frogs gotta hop. And birds (except flightless birds!) gotta fly. At least the kiwi bird walks, so that’s something.

Those are all really good names! Hmmm, perhaps Oliver for my little boy???
It would be a stretch, but how about “Harriet”? From The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet, “Aussie” and Harriet (see what I mean about it being a stretch?) ;-) Ava means “bird” and Amala means “bird, beloved”. Sadira means ostrich, which is pretty cool. (I had no idea that there was a name that meant ostrich!) Congrats on your new webbie family member! I hope that your search for a name is as fun and swift as she is!
LOL Beckinz8 when I started reading your post I thought you were suggesting the name “Stretch” for their ostrich and I thought that was a cool name. hahahahaha *sigh, yes I am weird!*
Yay! We are probably all at least a little weird here. That’s why we all get along so well! And yes, “Stretch” could work too, because of those long legs and that long neck. Happy whatever you might be celebrating in the coming weeks my friend! We celebrate Easter, but our church is connecting virtually for a Passover Seder this coming Thursday because we have Jewish members in our congregation. We have enjoyed Passover Seders in previous years and they are really cool. I love all of the symbolism on the seder plate. We’ve been streaming our church services, and so many people are viewing that it is really encouraging. I’m praying that you and our whole WW community stay healthy and safe.
