Play Lily Padz 2: Down Pourz!
Summer is usually filled with sunny, warm days and bright, clear skies…except when a storm is brewing! That’s one of the things you have to watch out for in Lily Padz 2: Down Pourz. In this game, you’re a frog who has to watch for bees, rising water, and rainstorms. You use the arrow keys and space bar to aim and jump. Keep jumping from mushrooms to lily pads to logs to rocks – but don’t stay stationary for too long, or you’ll sink (unless you’re on a rock – they don’t sink). The first time you make it to the end of the game, you’ll get a trophy! Time to play Lily Padz 2: Down Pourz now!
Plumpy in the Big City
Dear Nibbles, I’m having SUCH a great time on my honeymoon! Charles and I are in the Big City and we’ll be here for a couple of weeks – which is good, because there’s SO much to do! I know you guys came here for your end-of-the-year trip, so you got to experience some of the awesome things the city has to offer. Charles and I have been to amazing restaurants and we’ve seen a couple of really wonderful shows. I wish you had been with me when we saw the musical – it was so funny and exciting! We’re going to try and visit ALL the museums and galleries…and as many restaurants as we can. Charles is giving a lecture at the university, so I’ll have a day to myself. I was thinking maybe you could take the bus to the city and meet me here? Maybe we could hang out? I’ll call mom later and ask if she’ll let you come visit me! I do miss you a ton, Nibbles! Hope all is well in Kinzville! Love, Plumpy
Make the Mining Game!
Roberta here with a really fun game craft! One of the great things about the Webkinz Road Trip is the games that you can play to try and win a prize. I figured out a really fun way to make a game that you can play with your friends. It’s based on the Gem Mining job! Here’s how to make a gem mine of your own. What you need: Fake plastic jewels in five different colors (three of each gem), box, gray paint, paintbrush, shredded newspaper or tissue paper What you do: Paint the box gray. This is your ‘mine.’ Put your jewels in the box. If you like, layer them with the shredded paper (so they’re distributed throughout the box). Have your friend reach into the box and pull out a jewel. Have them try to find the other two jewels that match the color they chose. If your friend gets all three jewels of one color, they win a prize! If the second jewel they pull out doesn’t match the first one, have them put both jewels back in and have someone else take a turn.
Fabulous Flutterbugged
Get ready for a whole lot of laughter with Fiona the sheep in Flutterbugged! The Flutterbugs will chase Fiona around trying to tickle her, so it’s your job to use the arrow keys and avoid them. Lead the Flutterbugs toward the candy carnations and keep Fiona from being caught. The more you avoid those bugs, the faster they’re going to fly! Avoid them long enough and you just might win the Flutterbugged trophy!
Ella Interviews Arte
I’m here today with everyone’s favorite explorer, Arte Fact. Arte, thanks so much for taking time out of your busy schedule to do an interview! Arte Fact: My pleasure, Ella. It’s been a long while since anyone asked to interview me about anything! Ella: I find that hard to believe. After all, you’ve had quite an exciting career! AF: I have, it’s true. Even though I’ve settled down somewhat, I do occasionally miss those old days of crazy adventure. EM: What was your craziest adventure? AF: I have to pick just one? That’s impossible! They were all quite outstanding. The time I went to the top of Mount ‘Kinz…the time I discovered the gem mines…meeting the Azure Zingoz…it was all fantastic. EM: A lot of folks have wanted to know: are you still in touch with Matilda? AF: Matilda Monkey? Why, yes. She and I email each other at least once a week. She’s teaching right now, in West Webkinz World. She’s a beloved professor, and I’m so proud of her. She’s extremely talented. I attended one of her lectures once – her students just adore her. EM: And you? How do you feel about Matilda? AF: She’s an … Read more
Play Booger gets an A!
School’s out for summer, so what better time to brush up on your math skills? Now with Booger Gets an A, you’ll be able to be an arithmetic ace by the time September rolls around! Just look at the number Booger is thinking of and make it by clicking on blocks that add up to the number. Certain blocks have symbols on them and if you use the blocks in your addition, you can use their powers. A block with an eraser will erase one line of numbers. A block with a clock on it will stop the time for a few moments. A block with an apple on it will knock off some of the sums you have to make (so you’ll have to make fewer of them). This game has a pretty amazing calculator trophy, so see if you can win it!
Postcard to Nibbles
Dear Nibbles, I’m writing to you from frosty Northern Webkinz World! It’s always chilly up here, even in the summertime. Just because there’s snow and ice everywhere doesn’t mean there’s not much to do – just the opposite! We’ve been skating and skiing and snowshoeing. The other night, Charles and I were lucky enough to go to an art show put on by Blake E. Behr (Fluffington’s favorite artist). It was exquisite! The ice sculptures were simply stunning. I hope you’re enjoying the warm summer in Kinzville. To be honest, I can’t wait until we head south again – although I love the scenery up here, it’s just a bit too cold for this hippo! Love, Plumpy
Play Scrambled!
Scrambled is one egg-cellent game in the Arcade! If you’re a big fan of omelets (or if you just like cooking up a storm), you’re sure to love this fast-paced, egg-cracking good time! In Scrambled, you have to serve your customers as quickly and accurately as possible. What starts out as an easy day at the diner escalates into a frenzy of blending and grilling – and that’s no yolk! Try this game out today and see how much fun diner life can be!
Postcard From Plumpy
Dear Wiggles, I am having such a fun time on my honeymoon! Charles and I have been to so many places in Webkinz World. Right now, we’re visiting Zumwhere. It’s quite magical! We’ve met so many nice Zums, and they’re all very happy to show us around. I’ve been practicing my photography skills and trying to get a few good pictures of the Zums, but it’s not as easy as it looks – those little guys are fast! I hope you’re having a great summer in Kinzville! I’ll write again soon! Love, Plumpy
Play SPREE!
Have you ever played SPREE! before? If you have, you know how much fun it is to take a trip to the Kinzville Mall! If you’re not familiar with SPREE!, here’s what you need to know: when you play SPREE!, you roll up to three dice (you get two free per day) to see where you land. You might get a shopping bag (get all five and you’ll get a bag of cool prizes), some KinzCash, some Mall Credits, a chance to win an extra roll or a chance to take a card from the pile and see what you get. When you finally reach the Kinzville Mall, you’ll get to spend those Mall Credits you earned. You can buy all kinds of neat stuff! If you’re saving for something more expensive, you don’t have to spend your Mall Credits right then; you can wait until you reach the mall again. Roberta’s Craft: Homemade postcards
Roberta here with another fun craft! Here’s how you can make your very own homemade postcards! What you need: Cardstock cut into (size), markers, stamps, pens What you do: Decorate one side of your cardstock with a picture – you can draw your home town, a familiar landmark, or anything you like. On the other side, make three lines on the right half of the card (this is for your friend’s address). Write a message on the left side. Be sure to leave a space for the stamp on the upper right corner of the back of your card. Mail your card to surprise a friend!
Two Sweet Marshmallow Recipes
Everyone has had a great time collecting Marshmallows this summer! Here are two terrific Marshmallow recipes you can make for yourself (or a friend)! Marshmallow Pretzel Wands What you need: 6 large marshmallows, ½ cup white chocolate chips, 6 large pretzel sticks, colored sugar or sprinkles, waxed paper, grown up assistant What you do: Have your adult assistant help you melt the white chocolate chips (you can do this in the microwave. Just tell your adult assistant to check them every 15 seconds or so to see how they’re doing and give them a stir). Put a piece of waxed paper onto a plate or cookie sheet. A Postcard from Plumpy
Dear Nibbles, How is your summer going? I’m sorry I haven’t called in a few days – I’ve been SO busy touring Webkinz World. Charles and I are in the east right now and it’s just beautiful. I LOVE the warm weather and the beach! He thinks we should stay for at least a few more days, and I have to agree. I can’t wait to see the rest of Webkinz World, of course, but who can turn down the beach? I hope you’re less bored than you were before! Try to visit Roberta or Molly or Stoogles or Sparky. And what about Laurabeard? I just don’t want to think of you at home by yourself, having a terrible summer. So try and get out there and have a good time! I’m having a blast and you should be too! Love, Plumpy
Roberta’s Craft: Make your own stickers
Today at camp we had SUCH a great time! We got to make our own stickers. It’s pretty easy to do and also? A TON OF FUN! Here’s how we did it. What you need: Cardstock in different colors (this is a great way to use up old cardstock), scissors, double sided tape, craft glue, sequins, wiggle eyes, any other embellishments you want What you do: I sketched my sticker ideas out on scrap paper first, just to make sure they looked the way I wanted them to. I cut out my background first, and then pasted on pictures and icons to make the stickers. I added details with markers. When my stickers were dry, I added double sided tape to the back. When I want to stick my stickers, I just have to peel off the double sided tape backing and I’m good to go!
