Webkinz Costume: Ballerina
What you need: 4 Coffee filters (the basket kind), pink thread, needle, pink watercolor markers, water spray bottle, paper towel, old white or pink sock, pink ribbon What you do: Color the coffee filters with the different colors of pink markers. Lay them on the paper towel and spray them with the water bottle. The colors will mix and blend. Let the coffee filters dry. When the filters are dry, stack them up and cut out the center of each. This is the tutu. Sew around the inside edge of the tutu in order to hold the skirt together. Take your old white sock and cut off the toe. Cut two holes in each side. Trim the bottom if you need to. This is your pet’s top. You can run a piece of ribbon around the top of it to make it extra-fancy. Wrap your pet’s feet in pink ribbon to make toe shoes. Your little dancer is ready for a night of trick-or-treating!

Our Big Surprise Is Here! Build Your Own Kinzville!
Nuts and Bolts revealed the surprise a few days ago and now it’s finally here! Starting today, you can now build your very own Map of Kinzville! If you’ve played Webkinz before, you’ll find several buildings already placed on your Map with more waiting in your brand new “Map Stuff” Dock tab! Click and drag these buildings onto your Map to “edit” them (they can all be placed, rotated, moved or removed). Plus, when you play the “Build Your Own Kinzville” Challenge, you’ll win a cool Founder’s Statue for your Map! If you create a new account, though, you can earn buildings one-by-one by playing the “Welcome to Webkinz” Challenges! Other good things to know? Each building acts as a shortcut to your favorite places in Kinzville: click on the Arcade to play games or on the Adoption Centre to adopt a new pet! Purr-Cilla’s Invitation
Oh wow. It’s me, Sparky, and can you say ‘awkward’? Today Purr-Cilla came up to me and said that her invitation to my party must have got lost because she couldn’t find it anywhere. What was I supposed to say to that? I couldn’t invite Purr-Cilla. She really doesn’t get along with Salley and she and Nibbles had some weird thing over the summer about Nibbles’ pool. And even though it was all Nibbles’ fault that I got in trouble with Ms. Stripes the other day, she’s still my friend. I had to think fast so I told Purr-Cilla that I wanted to invite her but there just wasn’t space at the party and I said I was really sorry. Yikes, that was not a good plan because Purr-Cilla said that she heard that I was planning to have the party at my Uncle Arte’s Curio Shop and that there was plenty of room in there. Webkinz Wizard Costume
What you need: Pointy paper cup, blue paint, gold star stickers, blue felt, blue ribbon, toothpick, fabric glue, your Webkinz pet What you do: Paint the pointy paper cup blue. When it’s dry, add stars. Cut the blue felt in half. Attach the blue ribbon to the top of the rectangle with fabric glue (this is the robe). Paint the toothpick blue. Attach a gold star to the end. This is your wizard’s wand. Dress your pet in the hat and robe, and give your pet the wand – you’ll be amazed at what a great wizard they make!

What to get Sparky
Hey, Alex here and I’m really excited because my friend Sparky’s birthday is coming up! On Friday some of us were talking about what to get him at recess. He wasn’t there because he and Roberta and Nibbles all had to stay in and clean up Ms. Stripes craft cupboard, ‘cause I think they got in trouble or something. Salley really wants for us to all pool our money and buy Sparky something big, like the 4 Wheel ATV. That is a pretty cool idea, but Cowabelle said that she and Roberta were going to make something for Sparky themselves. They do make really neat crafts – I wonder what they’re going to get him. Stoogles said that he kind of wanted to get Sparky a game from the W Shop, and Molly and Polly both said they were planning to go in together and get Sparky a new Baseball Glove. Hmmm… I’m stumped. I’m not sure what the best thing to do is. I tried to ask Roberta and Nibbles what they thought after school but they were both really grumpy and said that they didn’t want to get him anything. Huh? Halloween Party: Cancelled?
Hi! It’s Nibbles and I had a terrible day yesterday. Sparky was trying to help plan the class Halloween party and he was being totally unreasonable. Ms. Stripes already said no candy or costumes so I was trying to plan a fun party that didn’t include those things. You know, we could still have fun playing games and there are lots of fun Halloween treats that you can make that aren’t candy. But Sparky is still hung up on the whole candy and costume thing and so he didn’t like any of the ideas I came up with. I suggested bobbing for apples and he said who is going to want to get all wet. So then I said we could do ‘Pin the Broom on the Witch’ and Sparky said that’s for babies. I had a yummy recipe for finger sandwiches that look like real fingers and Sparky said that was gross. But it’s Halloween! It’s supposed to be gross! Anyway, I was getting so fed up of his negative attitude that I started to get mad and then Sparky got mad and then Roberta took my side (because I’m right!) Hailey and Elwin Decorate the Curio Shop
After seeing how eerily well our studio turned out, a few businesses have asked us to help decorate their spaces for Halloween. Arte Fact came and asked if we would help him deck out the Curio Shop. What do you think? We used the Mega Modern Wallpaper with the High End Flooring because we thought that would create a dark, spooky backdrop. Arte has some shelving in the shop and his counter, which we had to work around, but we threw in a load of creepy clutter like the Creature Closet, the Ghostly Grand Piano, the Alchemist’s Stove, and the Cranky Fortune Teller to haunt the space! Arte is really pleased with how it turned out. He said when he was in the shop on his own and the Cranky Fortune Teller started talking he almost jumped out of his skin!
