End of Year School Trip
Ms. Cowoline here and before we arrive in the Big City while we’re still here on the bus, I just wanted to go over our itinerary for the trip. We will arrive in the Big City shortly and spend the whole day exploring the town then we will have a fun-filled evening with dinner out and a musical. We are going to stay in a hotel downtown for one night. Then we will spend another full day tomorrow, visiting the Art Gallery and having a picnic in the park before getting back on the bus late tomorrow afternoon and heading back home to Kinzville. I have assigned each of you a ‘buddy’ who will be your partner for the trip. Please be sure to stick with your buddy at all times and do not wander away from the group. I will be taking a head count periodically, but please keep in mind that we will be in unfamiliar surroundings where it is easy to get lost. So keep your wits about you, be responsible and respectful, mind your manners and I’m sure we will all have a wonderful time!
Getting Ready for the Big City
Hey, it’s Nibbles. I’m pretty excited about going to the Big City, but I was kind of worried because Ms. Cowoline said that there would be four kids to each room. The thing is, almost everyone had asked Molly if she wanted to share with them so it looked like it was going to be Cowabelle, Polly, Salley and Molly in one room and Roberta isn’t coming after all so I was going to have to share with Purr-cilla, Janice and Penelope. I know that Pur-cilla’s been a bit nicer since we all went to her birthday, but still – I wasn’t exactly crazy about the fact that I would be rooming with them instead of my friends. But it turns out there is a very good reason that everyone loves hanging out with Molly. She took one look at the room listings and said “No way.” She went straight to Ms. Cowoline and said that we needed to rework the room arrangements because I was one of her best friends and she wanted to make sure that all the ‘Kinz got a chance to room together. Ms. Cowoline said that Molly was perfectly right and then she asked how … Read more

Baby Shower Preparation
It’s Roberta and tomorrow is my mom’s baby shower! I am so excited! I’m over at my aunt’s house right now and we have been putting up blue and pink streamers everywhere (except I don’t think we need the blue ones because I am almost positive that I am going to have a little sister!) Right now I am decorating baby bunny cupcakes. If you want to try making them you can find the instructions here. And we even folded the napkins into cute bunny shapes. My mom’s feet are all swollen right now, so my aunt made her a special ‘Chair of Honor’ with a big, puffy ottoman where she can rest her feet and she decorated the chair with loads of pink and blue balloons. We wanted to have some games so my aunt got all these baby bunny dolls and we are going to have diaper races to see who can change diapers the fastest! Won’t that be fun?
Down to the Final Five
Ella McWoof here with some exciting, breaking news! The judges from Kinzville Sings! have just announced that they have knocked out two more contestants to bring it down to the final five! I’m just getting word from Dacey Bryn that the final five contestants will be: - PJ Collie Oh, my gosh! Oh, my gosh! Keep it together, Ella! Okay, I’m trying to be professional but PJ’s my BFF!!! This is awesome! - Elwin This is no surprise. I mean, I know Hailey keeps downplaying his talent but I really think Elwin might be in with a chance. He is a great singer. - Ms. Birdy Okay, much as I would love to see PJ win, Ms Birdy really gave an amazing performance. Her voice was like something out of a dream! - Cowabelle Cowabelle has such poise and charisma. I don’t know if I could choose the best singer from these five but I will say that Cowabelle marched onto the stage oozing confidence and it really translated into a fabulous performance. - Wiggles Oh, I totally called this one, did I not? Wiggles just walked out on that stage and wowed us … Read more
A Job for Sparky
Are you kidding me??? Can this summer get any worse? First of all my teacher totally doesn’t get that you don’t assign projects in June. Now, I just found out from my Uncle Arte that he needs me to work in the Curio Shop this summer! He wants me to help out TWO days a week! What??? My mom says I should be grateful that my uncle is giving me the chance to earn all this extra money but I don’t want money! I want to chill and hang with my friends and do nothing at all! I can’t believe that I have to work two whole days a week all summer! That is like – uh, almost half my time I think. Right? (I don’t know – math is not really my strong suit!) Well, I guess I have to man up. My uncle really does need extra help in the summer when people are off school and taking vacations from work, and I suppose I should be thankful for the chance to make some extra KinzCash. Molly said that I was being an ingrate to complain about it and that it … Read more

What are the ‘Kinz doing for Father’s Day?
By Ella McWoof Ella McWoof here with a report on what local kids have planned for their dads on Father’s Day on June 17. EM: Roberta Rabbit, would you care to share with us what you plan to do for your dad on Father’s Day? Roberta: Sure, Ella. I just love crafting and my mom and dad made me a really cool craft room in our new house. So for Father’s Day I decided to make my dad a paperweight in my new kiln that we got from the Creative Studio theme in the W Shop. EM: That’s really neat that you’re making your own gift, Roberta! Salley, what do you have planned for the big day? Salley: Well, the day before Father’s Day I am taking the train to West Kinzville so that I can spend the weekend with my dad! We are going to go and see a baseball game together that day. I can’t wait! EM: Cool! Molly, any big plans? Molly: My mom said that we should all take my dad for a picnic, so Millie and I are making everything ourselves and we’re going to walk over to … Read more
Trip to the Big City: Who can’t go?
Well, this is just rotten. It’s Cowabelle here and I just found out that Roberta is not coming on the school trip! Can you believe it? And she’s not even upset about it! Her mom won tickets and a gift certificate to some big Baby Show that’s on that week and Roberta said she wants to go with her mom instead! Can you believe that? I think even her mother was shocked – she kept asking Roberta if she was sure, but Roberta is getting so excited about the new baby and she said could go to the Big City anytime but her mom’s not going to have a baby every day. Whatever. So I decided that since Roberta wasn’t going to come I should room with Molly instead. So I called her to tell her that and she was kind of weird about it. So I asked if she didn’t want to room with me and she said it wasn’t that. She said that both Salley and Polly had already asked if she could share a room with them and she didn’t know who to choose. I said I had the perfect solution – Salley and Polly could share … Read more
Shower Forecast
Hi, it’s me, Roberta, and I am so excited! My mom is expecting my little sister or brother (I think it is a sister!) and I’m helping her friends throw her a baby shower! I’m going to serve a baby spinach salad with baby tomatoes, and dip with baby carrots and baby corn. We are going to have a cake shaped like a giant baby bottle and we’ll be playing some fun games and holding a baby pool where everyone gets to guess the baby’s birthday and whether it will be a boy or a girl. The one who is closest wins a prize! For the invitation I am making paw print bunnies! You dip your paw (or your thumb) in colored ink, press it down on a piece paper and when it is dry, you draw ears and a face on it! I put an orange bunny on a green background and then added and orange border (because orange and green are the color of carrots!) I thought that tearing the edges of my paper looked more interesting than just cutting it with scissors. When I pasted them both … Read more
