Choose Your Own Story – Booger Looks for Goober

Booger left his backyard and headed down the street in the direction he had seen Goober turn when he left the house. He was so excited about his discovery – he couldn’t wait to show Goober the strange disk he had found. Booger was happily imagining the scientific possibilities of finding a real live UFO. He would be famous, admired by renowned scientists throughout the world – even Goober!

Booger was so engrossed in his imaginings he almost didn’t notice the wailing sounds coming from nearby. When he turned a corner he was amazed to find Fluffington St. Bernard sitting on the curb next to one of his fleet of luxury automobiles. Fluffington seemed very distressed – he had his head down and was crying into his hands.

Booger wasn’t sure whether or not he should interrupt Fluffington’s weeping. He was concerned about Fluffington – obviously something terrible must have happened. But Booger was also anxious to get to Goober and share the exciting news of his unusual find. He paused, not knowing what to do.
