Choose Your Own Story – Booger Opens the Disk

Booger decided he was going to open up the strange object himself and see what was inside. He could see that the object was actually two shallow disks attached to one another somehow. He sat down on the grass and with the screwdriver tried to pry the two halves of the disk apart. After several unsuccessful attempts, an exhausted Booger finally managed to make a crack in the seam. He pushed the screwdriver in a little further and twisted it to create a gap.

Suddenly, a dark liquid oozed out from the hole Booger had created. The slimy substance covered his hands and clothing. Booger was terrified – what if this was some sort of alien poison? He ran to the hose and tried to wash off the slime but a thin film still stuck to him.

Booger realized he would have to visit Dr. Quack. Although he really didn’t want to share the story of his bizarre discovery and how he took it upon himself to examine it, he knew that whatever was covering his hands and clothing could be dangerous and he needed to find out what it was.

Booger started walking down the street toward the doctor’s office when he heard a wailing coming from around a nearby corner. He looked down the street and saw Fluffington St. Bernard sitting on the curb next to one of his expensive cars. He was holding his head in his hands and his shoulders were quaking.

Booger hesitated. He knew he should get to Doctor Quack immediately, but his generous nature compelled him to find out what was upsetting Fluffington so. Booger was torn.
