You’ll have the chance to collect 4 Webkinz Newz team member posters from Ella McWoof in the Webkinz Newz Room during Newz Week but, there’s only one way to get the signed versions… from the Webkinz Newz team members themselves!
From Monday, April 16th to Friday, April 20th, the Webkinz Newz team will be hanging out in the Clubhouse from 3:00pm – 5:00pm where you’ll have a chance to meet them!
If you meet them in a trading room, invite them for a trade so they can give you a signed version of their poster or, add them to your Friends List so they can send you a poster through KinzPost. You’ll be able to recognize members of the Ganz Newz team because they’ll be wearing their Newz Reporter outfits or the Ganz Studios Toque:

***We would like as many players to be able to meet the Webkinz Newz team as possible. As a result, we are asking that once you have met a Newz team member or, once you have completed a trade with a Newz team member, that you leave the Clubhouse room so other players can have the chance to meet them too.
You never know when you’ll run into a Webkinz Newz team member outside their scheduled appearances in the Clubhouse so, keep an eye out for them during Webkinz Newz Week!

Well, it’s up to you, but I’m probably going to stop trying. :P I spent over an hour attempting to find them today with no luck, and I don’t think I’m going to do it again tomorrow…
I don’t know what to do…. yesterday, I friended Sally Webkinz while she was in the Webkinz Newz room (it took me about 20 minutes, but finally, my request went thright and she accepted it), but when I logged in today, I didn’t see a package from her in my mailbox. So, I went in my friends list to see if Sally was on it… and to my disappointment, her username was nowehwre to be found!! I KNOW that I friended her yesterday… I even checked my friends list afterwards to see if her user was on it, so I’m absolutely distraught to see that it has somehow disappeared. :( I’m not quite sure what to do about this…. I’ve been having a really hard time finding the other Newz hosts (I just spent 20 minutes looking for Mandy, to no avail), and I’m really worried that I won’t get a chance to see Sally again (or any of the others, based on the way things are going) before the event ends XP Now, I did exit out of my account pretty quickly after she accepted my request yesterday, but I don’t think that should’ve had an impact. *sigh* Has anyone else experience this or have a suggestion on what to do?

Oh no, I’m so sorry to hear that that happened to you, Taffy!! D: I’m sure that must be so disappointing, especially seeing as it’s really hard to find any of the hosts! (I just spent over an hour trying to find three of the different hosts, but to no avail… :/ ) Unfortunately, I don’t really know what to tell you…I haven’t been able to friend any of them, so nothing like that has happened to me, and uh…I don’t really have any suggestions on what to do. :/ Maybe you could try friending her again? I think Sally said what her username was on the next page, so maybe you could try that?? I really don’t know what to tell you, but I’m so sorry to hear you’ve been having trouble! XP

Does anyone have the usernames for Michael, Mandy, Sally, and Steve? I want to friend them. Can’t get on Webkinz to look for them at those times.

From all the messages posted, yesterday’s event was a big bust. Great ideas, but poor execution. Myself, I wasted 2 hours backing in and out of trading rooms and the newz room. Wasted more time trying to add the 4 newz team members without success. Do we just use their first names or add Webkinz as if it were a last name? I tried to add the names both ways – nada. I will not and can not dedicate anymore time – I will not have access to the web version for a few days so this is an event I will pass on. Please, Ganz, just publish a code for each signed poster so everyone has an equal chance to get them.
I totally agree Alpha. As much as I would like to have the autographed posters, after yesterday’s experiences, I have mostly wrote off getting them. I did get the 4 regular ones from Ella, and they are very nice. Also, I am going to wait till alll the bugs are worked out of friending Newz Team members before trying again. I, too, just don’t have much time to invest in the Newz Week activities, when I still have challenges and rooms to complete (in WW & RL, lol). Good luck today! >{^;^}<
Thanks puppies4me! Yesterday was really the only day I had free to get in the clubhouses. I’m sure Ganz is aware of the problems and I have a feeling that we will see these signed posters again somewhere and sometime in the near future. Too much time and effort went into these designs and necessary programming to have it be a one time experience that has left sour feelings for many players. I thought that the newz team would be stationary hosts like Ms Birdy and Sophie in their respective clubhouse rooms or popping in and out of a room like the old leprechaun and ghost clubhouse events – Would definitely like to see codes for the posters. how do we add these 4 people to our friend’s list? I have asked several times but no one tells me. Also, there are certain people that find it fun or whatever to block hosts in rooms. They do it with Ms. Birdy in the new room, they do it with Sophie in the “featured room” (right now Denim and Lace) and they do it in the airport in front of the vending machine. They just don’t move. I have sat in a chair and waited and waited and it’s not like their game shut down and their pet is stuck because the game shuts down after a certain amount of inactivity unless you tell it not to. Is there a way that if we click on them say 5 or 6 times they get blocked for a week or something. This happens in the normal scheme of things and is even worse when trying to find and contact a host…. and people just won’t move.
