You’ll have the chance to collect 4 Webkinz Newz team member posters from Ella McWoof in the Webkinz Newz Room during Newz Week but, there’s only one way to get the signed versions… from the Webkinz Newz team members themselves!
From Monday, April 16th to Friday, April 20th, the Webkinz Newz team will be hanging out in the Clubhouse from 3:00pm – 5:00pm where you’ll have a chance to meet them!
If you meet them in a trading room, invite them for a trade so they can give you a signed version of their poster or, add them to your Friends List so they can send you a poster through KinzPost. You’ll be able to recognize members of the Ganz Newz team because they’ll be wearing their Newz Reporter outfits or the Ganz Studios Toque:

***We would like as many players to be able to meet the Webkinz Newz team as possible. As a result, we are asking that once you have met a Newz team member or, once you have completed a trade with a Newz team member, that you leave the Clubhouse room so other players can have the chance to meet them too.
You never know when you’ll run into a Webkinz Newz team member outside their scheduled appearances in the Clubhouse so, keep an eye out for them during Webkinz Newz Week!
I went to the Trading Room a little bit before 3:30 today but Steve was not there and now I am in the Newz Room but Mandy has not showed up and I have been there since 3:30. Did I miss her or something?
Steve sent me a SIGNED poster!
I began playing in 2007 so as you can guess I am an adult now. I love all the hosts but Mandy you are my favorite, your energy and laugh are infectious! Due to work scheduling yesterday was the first time I was able to try and meet any of the hosts. I began clicking in & out of the trade rooms at 4:00 & at 4:17 I found Mandy! She was in a trade so I waited patiently for her to finish. She completed her trade and announced she was going to another room! All I could think was “seriously Mandy, lol” I continued to search but was unable to locate her again. She did send me a poster and for that Mandy I want to thank you! I went on to search for Steve and located him at 4:59 just as he poofed! I will be able to search the entire two hours today and hopefully will connect with one of the hosts. You’ve done better than I have. I saw Michael in the newsroom on Wednesday and he seemed to be interacting with my chat however I didn’t seem to get a poster. I’ve not had much luck this go round. Like you Michaela2007 my work schedule had prevented me from being on as much as would have liked. Also like you I truly enjoy Mandy’s infectious laugh and good spirits! I so wanted to trade with Mandy and give her a top that I had made in the Clothing Machine. Well, here’s hoping that there will be many more News Weeks ahead!
Thanks to the Newz Team for working non-stop this week to try and connect with as many players as possible! It would make my day if SALLY would please send me a poster!
After reading many of these comments, I have one more thing to say: Why weren’t we giving the exact names to enter to befriend the Newz Team ahead of time? I, probably like a lot of the rest of us, tried adding them with the names they show on their posters, without a space between the last and first. Now I am seeing many different account names. Please post the correct ones. Thank you!!
I never saw Sally in the trading room today. I went in a little early to Daisy’s Diner hoping to find Michael. I waited several minutes and he showed up for less than a minute. I tried to make a friend request and he was caught up in other friend requests. He left the room in less than a minute. I have not had any luck receiving posters from typing in the hosts’ names to add them to my friends list. This is very frustrating, Ganz.
I was sitting beside Michael in the Diner but didn’t get a poster. I tried to ask to trade. What was I suppose to do to get the poster? I have gone to the rooms each day. I never seem to see them to get the posters. I always get the same poster each day in the Webkinz News room I was hoping I could get one of each of them. I have tried being friends with each of them also. Nothing seems to work. Is tomorrow the last day for the trying to find them in the rooms? Thanks!
Today (Friday) is the last day and I will miss it because I have to catch a bus to work just when the event starts. Maybe next time we can figure out just what to do.
This is really frustrating. I sent FRs and those requests never got answered and according to Sally she never got them. I cannot send another request because it says I have a request to that account pending. And to make it worse, every time I get that message I get booted out of WW. I hope they figure out what is happening to FR sent a couple of days ago.
How are you able to get a poster when you can not get your friend request through? Twice this has happened with Steve Webkinz. First you have to find them, then you have to try over and over again asking for friend request just to be told Steve is answering other request try again, then he leaves, I tried over and over. Sad Day, and frustrating.
