Webkinz Room Design Awards – Mandy’s Choice

Congratulations B! Mandy loved your room and you have won a Room Design Trophy!

Here’s what she had to say about your room:

“B has really captured the spirit of 2020, 2021, and – sigh – 2022 with this adorable bedroom, divided up so that everyone has space to do their online learning! Such a pretty room and a great use of color. I love the teals and pinks! And B has cleverly used the brick wall to create a small office. The blackboard and camera make me wonder if perhaps this is a teacher, teaching from home, while their child attends school online next door – a setup with which a lot of families have become very familiar! What really did it for me is the details in this scene. I love the homework and books strewn across the floor as well as some dirty dishes! Of course, when two pets are working in a small space, at least one of them would need headphones, and in the corner of the room is a fan for comfort as well as some cleaning supplies (I hope they’re going to tidy away those dishes!) Awesome room, B!”

B, please check your inbox for an email that will explain how to get your trophy!

This is a great room, I voted for it because of just how real and timely it felt. My room in real life looks so much like this, from the divided work/life space to the homework strewn all over the floor. Congrats, B!

There was a lot of attention to detail, and I love how they set up both the ‘school’ AND the ‘home’ end of the scenario. Well done indeed. I love those Ivy brick walls as it is so that’s a plus for me!

Congratulations B! This room design was one of my votes because it does a good job capturing a pivotal time in our world’s history. That is indeed what our house and so many other houses looked like. And the teachers (troopers that are!) looked just like that! Thank you for designing this WW snapshot of a moment in time. (And doing it in a medium sized room!) I am looking forward to the time when this time in history becomes a distant memory. Enjoy your well-deserved trophy!
