Alex Tiger here. The other day at Sparky’s birthday we had a really scary adventure! While we were by the lake, there were some very strange sounds coming from this old boat that had washed up on the shore. Everyone freaked out and ran away, but I am convinced that there must be a reasonable explanation. Maybe it was just the wind running through the old shipwreck.
So today I persuaded Sparky to come back to the boat with me to investigate. He really didn’t want to go, but I thought it would be good to bring someone else along – not because I was scared or anything – I just wanted to show him that there was nothing supernatural making that noise.
As we got close to the shipwreck, everything was calm, although Sparky was a bit shaky. I talked Sparky into climbing up onto the deck of the ship with me and I was just about to show him that it was nothing but an old boat when suddenly it started shaking and that groaning sound started up again. Then a cold breeze blew out of the cabin on the ship. I wanted to investigate but Sparky grabbed me and pulled me away. He was absolutely terrified!
So my mission may have been a failure, but I am still determined to convince Sparky and the rest of the ‘Kinz that there is nothing to be afraid of. There must be an explanation!
