Auditions Day 2: A Surprising Voice

Hi everyone! It’s me, Cowabelle. I am pretty pumped because my audition at Kinzville Sings went really well yesterday, but today I went over to catch day 2 of the auditions and it seems like I might have some surprising competition.

The auditions were going pretty well. There were some good singers and some not so good, but then Ms. Birdy’s name was called. Roberta came with me and when we heard that Ms. Birdy was auditioning we were pretty shocked. She’s not exactly your typical rock star, you know?

So she comes out on stage and she kind of stumbles a bit and seems pretty nervous. The judges were being super nice to her because, really, she’s just a sweet lady and nobody was expecting too much. We all just wanted her to get through it without embarrassing herself.

But then the music started and Ms. Birdy started singing and everyone just gasped! Her voice was angelic! The judges’ jaws all dropped – nobody was expecting that voice to come out of Ms. Birdy! We all just stared in amazement and when she was done Ms. Birdy got a huge standing ovation. Everyone in the whole audience was standing and cheering for her.
